These were not very good. They have potential to be wonderful but was missing something.

Pumpkin Roll-Out Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
Great Cookie for decorating. Nice and firm to hold decorations. We didn't put the orange zest for we did not have it on hand. It taste like a fall cookie.

Portobello Penne Pasta Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
Use less soy sauce and fresh spinach. Frozen spinach is just to bitter, and the soy sauce was a little overpowering.

Crab Cakes III

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
These melt in your mouth. I would love to rate this a 5 but I changed the recipe. I only used 1 Lbs Crab Meat (enough for 2), just squeezed a little bit of lemon juice, about 1/4 teaspoon plus 1/8 teaspoon of Old Bay (I will add more next time), 12 saltine crackers, 1/8 cup of mayo and about 2 tbsp of mustard. Then a small dash of garlic powder and pepper. I actually made this early in the day only adding 8 crackers, then put the mix in fridge. Right before I started cooking, I made the patties and I added the 4 last crackers. *I did not make the sauce.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
This was amazing. Will make this all the time. I would rate this a 5 star but I made a few changes. I seared the meat in butter and garlic powder before putting in slow cooker and I added 3 cups beef broth instead of water. I also only cooked a 2 1/2 Lbs. pot roast.

Avocado Tacos

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2010
I only give this 2 stars because I added black beans and yellow rice, which make it worth eating. This was so bland and the Corn Tortillas overpowered the mild flavors. I ended up just mixing everything together minus the tortillas and had myself a yellow rice/black bean salad.

Southern Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2010
This was really amazing. My husband and I really liked it the first day, but really loved it the next day. I added bacon instead of celery. Only added 1 tbsp. of mustard. I will make this again.

Italian Style Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2010
I would love to rate this a 5, but I had a little bit of a hard time getting the middle to cook. I drained the loaf after the hour and then cooked it for 15 mins. more. I added seasoned bread crumbs and tomatoes. My husband and I really loved this. I will be making this again.

Creamy Swiss Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
My husband and I really enjoyed this dish. I did add half a slice of Pepper Jack Cheese on each chicken and instead of noodles I used rice. I used the mushrooms. I WILL make this again. Next time I will add a whole slice of Pepper Jack Cheese to each chicken.

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2010
Very Good! I only put in 1/2 teaspoon of the red pepper flakes per other reviews saying to hot. I also used a mix bag of seafood which I think gave it a little more of flavor. Will make again.

Cola Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
Yummy! Per another review I let the pork sit in cola over night. I also did 1/2 cup ketchup and 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce. I know its cheap, but I used BBQ sauce from McDonald's because its sweet. My husband and I both thought it was delicious and I will make this again. I will probably use more BBQ sauce!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
This is a very good base recipe, but I found it to be somewhat bland so I added more seasonings. My husband loved the meatballs, but I found them a little undercooked. Good flavor though. I found that 12 meatballs was not enough and too big. I made smaller meatballs. I WILL use this as my base recipes again. I only give this 3 stars because I did change the recipe some and added seasoning.
