Oatmeal Bread III

Not the kind of bread to spread peanut butter and jelly on or make sandwiches out of. It had good flavor, but it was the consistency of crumbly banana bread with no special flavor (like banana).

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Add 1 tsp of vanilla and omit the powdered sugar on top. It's delicious! I have made it twice and every time I ask people to guess what the main ingredient is and no one believes me! :) It sounds crazy, but give it a try! You won't regret it!

Baked Kale Chips

This is UNBELIEVABLE! Who would have thought that kale could taste like potato chips?! I oil-coated the leaves individually with my hands. It was more even that way and I used less oil! Great recipe! Thank you for sharing! :)

Egg-Free Low-Fat Oatmeal Cookies

I love healthy baking, but I had to throw these away. :( They tasted like undercooked, chewy, too-sweet muffins (even after baking them for 6 minutes longer). My advice is to stick to muffin recipes if you are going low-fat/vegan/egg-free.

Vegan Chocolate Cake

I made them into cupcakes and reduced the baking time. I upped the cocoa powder to 1/3 cup, reduced the sugar to 3/4 cup, and used half rice milk/half water. Very good! I will definitely make them again. :)

Vegan Agave Cornbread Muffins

Very good and they rose beautifully! I used 1/4 cup rice flour and 1/4 cup bread flour. Also, I used maple syrup instead of agave and they are delicious! Next time I will make them into 8 muffins instead of 6 because they were too big. Thanks!

Best Brownies

The title "Best Brownies" is absolutely correct! I cut back on the butter (to about 1/3 cup) and they are DELICIOUS! They are now my #1 used brownie recipe. Thank you!

Cinnamon-Raisin Granola

Needed salt. I added 1/2 tsp salt, then it was delicious! I also added 3/4 cup sliced almonds. It really went well with the flavor.
