Sweet Potato Pie

Excellent recipe! Like others, I of course had to try the tomato soup. I was a little iffy when I started mixing the soup and egg mixture together, but do not fear! It turns out great. I added 1/4 cup of butter in with my mashed potatoes and used a graham cracker crust instead of a traditional pie crust, as I prefer graham cracker. Great for a non-crust lover. For those of you wondering how much mashed sweet potato you need, it's 1 1/2 cups per pie. 3 large potatoes is very vague and I ended up having to double my recipe and make three pies out of it. 1 hour is a perfect cook time for my oven. 5 stars! Will definitely be trying this again.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

They're not kidding when they say this is the best! The cookies are light and fluffy, chewy and slightly crispy on the outside. I didn't have to make any alterations. The only thing I did (personal experiment) was use half vanilla/half almond extract. Turned out great! I cut the cookies rather thick and used powdered sugar in place of the flour when rolling (never done that before!) and it worked great- no dry or tough dough. I cooked them for eight minutes in a 350 deg. oven because my oven is hotter than most. Adjust accordingly. I definitely recommend this recipe!

Strawberry Pie II

Pretty good. Instead of a traditional pie crust, I used a graham cracker crust and like one person suggested, I painted the inside of the crust with melted chocolate and let that set in the fridge before I filled it. It was a little bitter for me that way, because I like my chocolate to be really sweet and semi-sweet just doesn't cut it for me, but I imagine white chocolate would be delicious.

Banana Banana Bread

Delicious! There isn't a single thing I would change about this recipe other than a couple personal add-ins. I added about a quarter cup chopped walnuts and about a cup of flaked coconut to the mixture, and then I sprinkled about 3/4 cup of walnuts over the top before I baked it. YUM.
