Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2014
I tried the recipe and followed it pretty much to the letter. I actually had my son make it (trying to teach him a few life skills) and it turned out great! It was easy (even for my son, the novice, impatient chef). I was skeptical about the amount--thought it would not be enough, so we made two batches (didn't double--but made two separate dishes) and a single one turned out to be PLENTY for four people, including a young man with a bottomless pit of a stomach. Thank you, Mouse! I will definitely make this again. One more thing - we didn't even touch the second dish, so I figured the next day serving would be a bit dried out. WRONG! I heated it in the microwave and it was just as delicious as the first batch.

Monkey Bread IV

I followed the recipe exactly (except omitting the cloves). It was delicious and I didn't think it needed the frosting at all. Yummy! I posted a pic as well.

Quick and Easy Home Fries

I also sliced, which makes them a little harder to turn (the suction) but they were still delicious--tender inside and crispy outside.

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Short Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
My primary displeasure could just be because of the nature of the meat--it's fatty. But I tried to see past that in my evaluation of this recipe. To me, the flavor was just not that enjoyable. That, in combination with the fattiness of the meat, made this recipe a "one and done" for me. I did enjoy how easy it was, and it sounded like it would be really good, and clearly, it is to some, just wasn't to my liking.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
This was delicious. I couldn't find a 4.5 ounce package of wild rice so I used a 6.1 ounce package of Uncle Ben's quick cooking long grain and wild rice, butter and herb flavor. I increased the water by a cup and it turned out perfectly! Very delicious!
