Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
this is AWESOME!! the first time I made this - I followed the directions and it was good - if you are making a full roast - use 2 packets of the italian seasoning and add a tbsp minced garlic to it - also, sear the meat before you put it in the slow cooker - mix some flour and you favorite seasonings (season salt pepper onion powder garlic powder) shred it about and hour or two before it is done - at walmart they have different types of bread - my favorite was the garlic parmesan - i tried the everything bread and it was good too - kinda salty though. I sauteed the onions and bell peppers instead of mixing them in with the meat - serve with provalone cheese - YUMMMMMMMYYYYYYYY

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2010
yum yum yum!!!!!!! This pie is so easy and the best apple pie I have ever made. I used a variety of apples: granny smith (main apple used), pink lady, braeburn and golden delicious. It was amazing! I think the crust had a lot to do with it too - I used the refridgerated roll out dough you can get at your local grocer (usually by all the canned biscuits and rolls).
