Potato Skillet

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2014
Oh my gosh, this was wonderful! My husband just told me that he was burned out on the same ole breakfast. So I saw this and decided to try it. I made mine with3 frozen sausage patties and let them cook in the skillet for awhile to get a little grease. We didn't have any bacon since I just used it all up 2 days prior and my husband prefers sausage. After "cooking" the sausage, I added water to it and then put my potatoes in it as I needed something more to be able to cook the potatoes, and wanted less grease. I followed the recipe to a T with the exception of adding mushrooms and diced potatoes as I had some left from the recipe I cooked 2 days ago. I have cooked this for the third time and my husband always tells me the day ahead that he only has one meal left. He is such a happy camper in the morning :). Thanks so much for the recipe. This is a meal I have to make every week! Try this and you wont be disappointed. If you don't want the grease, drain the meat well, and then add water or milk to the skillet. It is just as wonderful without the drippings.

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
Oh my gosh, this was delicious! And so easy to make. I had plenty of leftovers since it is just my husband and I, so I froze half of this and it is wonderful when I thawed it out. This will stay on my rotation menu.

This was very good. My husband does not like apples but I do and loved it. He liked it but not with the apples so I took the apples out since there was plenty of leftovers and saved them as a treat for myself. Thanks DEUXMAC!

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
Oh my gosh! This is the best and easiest peanut butter fudge that I have ever had!! Make sure that you firmly pack the brown sugar in the cup or it will not get hard in the frig. So nummy. Thanks ANGIEH so much for the recipe! It will be my yearly recipe from now on. And probably monthly since my husband loves peanut butter fudge.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2013
This was wonderful and so easy! The only noodles I had on hand were penne (my husbands favorite) and it still turned out wonderful. I know that egg noodles would be so much better, so when I went to the store, I bought some for my next casserole. I did add broccoli and some spices in mine, so for those that say to rate it as is, I have NEVER made a dish without adding my own ingredients that we love. If you love to cook, and cook a lot, you will always add your own things for your particular taste. Any kind of veggie(s) would be great with this. I was going to put mixed ones in there, but I had just made homemade soup with mixed ones in it and didn't want to repeat that. My husband went crazy over this and he is pretty picky and will always tell me if he wants it again. Very nummy! And it makes a big batch for just the two of us so I will half the recipe next time. It is in my recipe box for the next batch.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2013
This was so easy and my husband and I loved it! It makes a big batch so I am taking some to my brother and family. This will truly be a favorite. I did thaw my chicken and clean it as I never bake with frozen chicken or any other meat. It is so nice to let the slow cooker do the work while I am busy cleaning house and doing laundry. And this freezes well too. Thanks so much for this recipe.

Cheesy Hash Browns

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2013
This was so easy and good. My husband and I both loved it. I added onion powder instead of the onions because my husband can't eat onions. It still gave it the onion taste and my husband never knew it. Added this to my All Recipes Box and it will be made often. Thanks Terra for the recipe.

This was so GOOD and so easy to make. My husband loved it and never eats the same thing more than one night, but he had it three nights in a row and so did I. I did cook my pasta first and added to the dish in the pan. So nummy! I saved it to my recipe box and we will have this again. Thanks for the recipe!

Tuna Fish Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2013
This was so awesome! Since it was Lent, I made this and even though I am not a big tuna lover,it was out of this world. And I never would have thought to put celery in it, but that really gave it such a great touch. Since I am on a diet, I use fat free ranch dressing instead of the mayo and I loved it. My mother wanted the recipe too so I gave it to her. Thanks Emily!

Beth's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
Oh My Gosh!! These are the BEST chocolate chip cookie I have ever made (and ever tasten). I gave so many out as Christmas goodies since they were so good. And also because the recipe makes so many, which was my fault for not looking. These can easily be made for diabetics by using Splenda white and brown sugar and sugar free chocolate chips. I have three friends that are diabetics so I am making a bunch for them next year. I will half my recipe for next year where I can make half of them sugar free. Thanks Beth!

Yummy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2012
This was yummy indeed! I picked this recipe because my husband is suppose to stay away from catsup and he loves steak sauce. The steak sauce did something special to it. Also, make sure that you put in the right amount of crackers. I did not have saltines because we use different rich and crispy ones that are out of this worlc. However, they dont come in 10 packages so I tried guessing.....wrong. Other than havng too many crackers in it which made it dry, my husband said it was really good. He just topped it with additional steak sauce. Added to my recipe box. Thanks, cant wait to try it again!

Low Fat Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2011
OMG!!!!!!!! This was so good. I will never go back to store bought dressing and this tastes like the kind that they serve in fancy restuarants. I even made a double batch and had some left over that I will take to my mom's. She likes french dressing on her salad BUT she likes Ranch on her veggies. Too awesome, thanks so much for the recipe! I did not have fresh herbs so used dried ones and it was still awesome!

OMG!!! Wish I could give 10 Stars. These were AWESOME! I took them to a meeting and got rave reviews. I am on the strick diet, but had to try one before I took them. I always like to know the taste of what I am taking. Left a couple home for my husband to try and he loved them. I think the pudding made such a difference from my others. Will make some for the grankids. This is a keeper!!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Parisienne

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
OMG!!! This is wonderful! I made it tonight and never would have thought it was going to be this good. My husband, who never brags on my cooking much, just could'nt stop. He said it was the best he ever had. And there was a creamy "gravy" in the slow cooker after cooking it so I put it over the mashed potatoes that I also served with it, along with green beans. Thanks so much for the recipe. Will make again and again. Wonderful dish for company too!

Laurie's Cheesy Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
I would say those that did not give it 5 stars was because they did not like kielbasa sausage. But it is a favorite here and we loved it! I did not have tomato soup, so after i put the cream of mushroom in, I put a small amount of ketchup in the can and the rest of it water. And I did not have 2 cups shredded cheese, so I used one cup and one cup mozz. cheese. I know that my grandchildren and sister would love it because they love kielbasa sausage along with us. So I suggest you don't try it and give it bad reviews if you do not like it. Thanks Laurie!!!!!
