Gingerbread Boys

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2014
I liked this recipe but had to make several adjustments. First, I added 1-2 cups of flour, doubled the ginger, and left out the orange. The cooky had a nice texture, but next time ill double all the spices-we like our cookys spicey!!!The fun thing was my husband frosted/decorated them and he had never done that before-he even added the gumdrops!

Stuffed Shells III

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2013
I modified this recipe considerably and then cooked it in a crockpot. I fried burger with onions, added spices-Italian/turmeric/parmesean cheese,(others commented that this recipe had way too much salt so I omitted it and substituted other spices and left out the eggs) spaghetti sauce and one half cube of crème cheese. After cooking the shells in the pampered chef large saucepan in the microwave, I stuffed the shells, then put them in the crockpot on a layer of spaghetti sauce. Then I topped the shells with spaghetti sauce and grated sharp cheese. This cooked for 2 hours on high, during the last 30 minutes I grated more cheese on top. This turned out wonderful and cooked without heating up my kitchen on this 102 degree hot summer day!!!

Cajun Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2013
Very excellent recipe-I added sweet onion slices with the potatoes for the first twenty minutes, then added fresh garlic cloves and fresh half cobs of corn on the cob(microwave for two minutes first) for the second 20 minutes of oven grill time. I also used coconut oil in the bowl instead of olive oil and drizzled coconut oil over the second 20 minutes of grill time! Yummy!

Johnsonville Zesty Italian Sausage Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
I just made this and it was really good with a few changes. It was a little thin-sauced so I added one half brick of creme cheese, then when almost done made a cornstarch and water thickner, added a little milk and Italian seasonings to make one yummy dinner!
