Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs

These are fall-off-the-bone, melt-in-your-mouth ribs! I have made this just as written several times now and it is a family favorite.

Simple Garlic and Basil Pesto II

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
This is a great recipe! I made a couple small changes. I used 3/4 C of toasted pine nuts and no Brazil nuts. I doubled the minced garlic as I LOVE garlic and used 3/4 C of good Reggiano Parmesano. I was reluctant to try the chili powder but did and I didn't detect any chili flavor. I'm not really sure what the purpose of the chili powder is but there were no adverse effects. I will definitely make this again and again!!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
I added about a 1/3 C of diced carrots. I also added a sprinkling of cayenne pepper at the end to give it a little zip. I used 3 1/2 cups of chicken brother rather than bouillon and water. I will difnitely make this again!

Chicken Pasta Salad with Cashews and Dried Cranberries

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2010
I made a couple changes as we had a person joining us that is allergic to soy. I couldn't find a cole slaw dressing without soy so I found a no soy poppyseed dressing and mixed it with a canola mayonaise. I did not use salad dressing. It was wonderful!!!!!!!!

Marzetti® Italian Penne Pasta Salad

I didn't add the spinach and used Drew's Roasted Garlic and Peppercorn salad dressing as my mother is allergic to soy and Drew's has no soy in it. It was fantastic and got rave reviews!! Thank you

Herbed and Spiced Roasted Beef Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2007
This is the best beef tenderloin we have ever had. We made a 1 lb. tenderloin but made enough marinade for 2 lbs. VERY moist!! We had to cook it for an extra 10 minutes to get it to 140 degrees but our roaster is very heavy.
