Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Flavorful Flounder

So incredibly good! I wasn't able to grill it, instead baked it in the oven and it was still fabulous, I can't wait to try it on the grill where I'm sure the slight smoke flavor will make it devine. A keeper!

Spiced Applesauce Bread

Pretty good, but for something called "spiced" it's not really. I even increased the spices somewhate, still didn't think it had much to it. But still tasty, and makes very nice french toast.

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Quite tasty. I was all kinds of distacted when I was making this and was scared how it would turn out, but we really enjoyed it. I can only imagine that it will be even better when I make it again with full attention being paid!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Very good and versatile. I substituted veggie broth for the wine, as I didn't have any open. I think next time I'll either cut the salt down or omit it entirely as I felt the paste and canned tomatoes and broth had more than enough in them.

I didn't have all the dried spices so I used Mrs Dash Garlic Blend, and it still turned out very well. I'll try the recipe as written once I hit the grocery store again, but I think this one is a keeper.

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Delicious! For those who say it's too cheesy, well that all depends on how you like your mac. I like it dripping ooey goodness, so this was perfect in my book. The only think I did differently was to change american cheese (I don't like the taste) with a chedder jack blend.

Venison Chili

This was a very good base, but it needed more... we added a can of diced stewed tomatoes, a can of kidney beans, several diced hot peppers and some extra hot spices and it was delicious.

Butternut Squash Soup with a Kick

Red and Green Christmas Jalapeno Jelly

sooo sooo good. The only change I made was to increase the amount of jalapeno and decrease (slightly) the amount of bell because I have a high tolerance and wanted it spicy. Not only did my husband love it as well, but guests who had it begged for the jars I had left and said I should mass produce and sell at farmers markets. I think that means it was a hit!

Corn and Black Bean Salad

This is wonderful! Tasted great the same day I made it, but man oh man was it fabulous 3 days later. I took some of the suggestions on here and added onion as well as increasing the corn to a 16 oz. can. This will be a staple in our house.
