Strawberry Blue Cheese Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2013
This was pretty good, but I would add some sugar to the dressing. Maybe because my strawberries weren't that sweet, but I would have enjoyed the dressing more had it been sweeter.

Paprika Chicken with Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2013
My husband and I both thought this was pretty delicious! And really, with the amount of butter, it's not too bad for you. We both love mushrooms and onions and they really make this a tasty dish! I prepared it as written.

Double Chocolate Brownie Cake

Reviewed: May 19, 2012
This cake is delicious! It is so easy. I usually can tell a cake mix cake, but this would have stumped me. It is very moist. I made it for my Bunco Group and they (and my hubby) loved it!

Spiced Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
Made this last night. All I have to say is yummo (thanks Rachael Ray)!! It was good last night but even better this morning. I think the spices are just right. I used three of the store bought aluminum pans and got three pretty loaves. I'm thinking that maybe next time, I'll put a cream cheese glaze on the top of the loaf while still warm. Make it -- you won't regret it!

Pineapple Grilled Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
This is so delicious! I've made this twice. The second time, due to a malfunctioning pop top, I ended up making the marinade with crushed pineapple juice. A little of the crushed pineapple got into the marinade. It made the pork chops much more tasty. This is simple and definitely guest-worthy!

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
WONDERFUL. I'd put any restaurant made coconut shrimp up against this one! Came out nicely browned and the coconut crispy. It was delicioius! Made a sauce out of apricot preserves, horseradish and dijon mustard. This is definitely a keeper!

PHILADELPHIA New York Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
this tasted too eggy. Mine tasted almost like a custard. For those people that said their cheesecake cracked, wrap foil around the springform pan. Then put it in a roasting pan with warm water about halfway to the springform pan. Then when it's done cooking, leave it in the oven for a couple of hours with the door cracked open. One thing I'll say about this is that it did not crack!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
This was good but really rich. You basically make a cheese sauce in place of marinara. As some other reviewers stated, I only used about a 1/2 10 oz. package of spinach. That seemed like plenty. I can't imagine putting in two packages! But then I'm not really a spinach person. I think it would be better with fresh spinach. All in all, pretty good and it made a ton for hubby and me.

Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
This is a combination spaghetti/lasagna recipe. I did as several reviewers suggested and added a big jar of sauce, and even then it could have been saucier. Also, put a thin layer of sauce down first, then the noodles. Oh and I used ground turkey instead of beef. This was pretty good and with just my husband and me at home now, made a ton and froze about half. I liked that it just cut into squares. Made some garlic bread, and there ya go! I will be making this again with the addition of even more sauce.

Honey Walnut Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2010
This was pretty darn good! I took a couple of the reviewer's tips and did the following: Used about half the mayo and a little more condensed milk. Also doubled the sauce. And used cornstarch instead of the mochiko called for. Will definitely make this again!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
This was really good. I, too, used a Boboli pizza crust and also used some Mexican cheese, along with the mozzarella. When you use the Boboli, you don't need to prebake the crust. Just pop the whole thing in the oven, and Voila!

Easy Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
This was really good. But I do recommend: Cooking the chicken in butter or olive oil/or both. I would then go ahead and cook the mushrooms. I would triple the sauce recipe also. I loved it but I wanted more sauce!

Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
This was just okay. The sour cream was a kind of harsh flavor so I added coconut. That made it just right. Enough sweet against the sour cream flavor. I guess with the coconut I'd give it five stars.

Coconut Tilapia with Apricot Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
My husband and I love this recipe. Its mild white fish covered in coconut and fried crunchy and then if that wasn't enough, you make a sweet spicy sauce with apricot jam and brown mustard. I have never tried to change this recipe, you just don't need to.
