Jewish Style Sweet and Sour Brisket

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
I made this for dinner tonight and it is a keeper. It was easy to prepare and it came out tender with plenty of flavor. I did add and extra clove or two of garlic as we love garlic. The leftovers will definately be used! Thanks for a great and easy recipe!

Creamy Chicken Pesto and Bowtie Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2012
This was good and I will make it again with only one change. Next time I will add some cream or milk to the recipe to thin out the sauce, it was a little too thick for us!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
This cake is yuuummmy! I have made this twice now and both times it has been a hit. The cake is nice and moist. It is good with a drizzle of chocolate on top or just by itself.

Chicken Katsu

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
I make this dish often and was excited to come across it on this site. I do change it slightly as I season the panko crumbs well with garlic pepper, italian seasoning, paprika, and red pepper. I season to taste depending on who I am cooking for and what I have on hand. It is wonderful with sweet red chili sauce, couscous and edamame. Sooo Good!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
This recipe is amazing. I use chicken breasts (shredded) instead of canned chicken for my personal taste. Everyone loves it and the amount of hot sauce can easily be adjusted for the taste of those you are making it for!

Cherry Tomatoes Filled with Goat Cheese

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2010
The goat cheese has a strong flavor so I mixed it with plain cream cheese. They were pretty easy to make with very little mess to clean up, very good!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
I made this recipe because of the high reviews. It made the recipe just as recomended, only using fresh bacon instead of bacon bits. We both thought it was very salty. The taste (other than salt) was just ok. This will not be made again.

Smooth Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
This tastes just like the tea from McDonalds! When I make this you had better grab a glass quick or it will be gone. The pinch of baking soda keeps the tea clear but is not detectable in the taste. I just use the ice tea maker to heat the water and throw the bags into the pitcher and let it sit for 15 minutes before taking them out and continuing with the recipe.

Potato Latkes I

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
I made these tonight to place on beef brisket sandwich. While they were very good next time I will follow the advice of others and add less egg. I did add some garlic as well as parsley. This recipe has now been placed in my 'make it again' book, yum yum!
