Baked Falafel

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2015
It is rather flavorless, bland. Add more spices of your choice. I topped it w/ Spaghetti Sauce bc of blandness. But i will make it again bc I like eating Bean Patties.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2015
Unfortunately, I used what I had, 2xs. Instead of onion soup can, I used a packed of dry salad dressing mix, extra water and lots of dried onions.....FABULOUS! This time I used 1 beer, 1 1/2 tsp bullion and 2 packets of onion soup mix , with water to suffice recipe....FABULOUS!

French Green Bean Stuffing

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2015
FINALLY a green bean casserole that is not a gross mushy mess. I used 1/2 stick butter, 1 egg, no water or leek and everything else the same. I admit it is a bit dry the way I made it but I really like it. Sometimes I add 3 tablespoons of spaghetti sauce or salsa to my serving.

Romantic Chicken with Artichokes and Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2014
AWESOME!!!!!!! Cut 4 chicken breasts into chunks, browned in 2 pans w/ 4 garlic cloves, 3 shallots and sherry. Near the end of browning, added rosemary, thyme, tiny bit of oregano and half & half. Browned mushrooms/artichokes in 2 pans. Trader Joe's frozen rice. Next time ditch the chicken and add veg.

Cranberry Nut Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2014
Excellent recipe...a tad dry, but it could be me..... Nothing a little butter can't fix! I sliced the cranberries for a prettier look, photo doesn't show that.

Simple and delicious, salt, pepper, and a bit of agave sweetener only because my squash wasn't that sweet.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2014
Cheaper cuts of pork work just the same and have tons of flavor! I took another chef's advice and bought the less expensive pork shoulder cut. I then rubbed it w/garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper. I cooked in the slow cooker for 6 hours, poured off the fat, pulled it apart and mixed with BF fav BBQ sauce, and then cooked for 30 min. I served it with Nana's Southern Coleslaw from allrecipes.com. Both are 5 stars.

Chef John's Turkey Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2014
Perfection! BF and I loved it! I didn't have cheddar, used Havarti-Jalapeno. Used white wine instead of water. Next time 1/2 cup ketchup, not 3/4. But that's just me. The recipe is GREAT. 2nd time I made it....I used 3/4 ketchup, but a tad less brown sugar. No one NEEDS to change this recipe....they may want to but it's really perfect as is. I've stopped changing it.
