Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2012
This is amazing brittle. I used half brown sugar and half white sugar. To me, the molasses in the brown sugar was a little stong,so next time I will use all white sugar. Will keep this recipe forever. Thanks for sharing.

Delicious Shrimp Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2012
I know people hate when you change a recipe but I did. I omitted the mayo and I used a bag of frozen whole shrimp (peeled and deveined) (41-60 count). I sauted the cut up shrimp in some crab boil and butter, let cool completely, and added to cream mixture. Chilling overnight is a must. Thanks for sharing.

Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2012
I gave this a 5 even though I changed it a bit. I followed as written except I added an 8 ounce brick of softened whipped cream cheese to the pudding mixture before I folded in the whipped topping. I also used a tub of dark chocolate frosting which I microwaved for about 30 seconds and poured over the top layer of crackers. Refrigerated overnight, and my family loved it the next day! Thanks for sharing!!!

Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
This was a great casserole. I used a whole small onion, no condensed mushroom soup (I didn't have any so I mixed one cup of water to a package of mushroom gravy), and I used tater tots in place of the fries. Turned out wonderful and everyone wanted seconds. Thanks for sharing.

Blueberry Crumb Bars

Reviewed: May 19, 2012
Great use of summer berries. I used 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white sugar for the crust. I also used butter flavor crisco. I added the salt and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon. For the berries, I used 4 teaspoons of cornstarch. I made a glaze of powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and milk. Yummy bars and not too sweet. Will def make again. Thanks for sharing!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: May 2, 2012
These were amazing! I made as directed except I doubled the cinnamon and used sweetened unsalted butter to spread on the dough. Then I sprinkled with the brown sugar mixture and raisins. I also baked them in a 9x13 baking dish. I ended up with 13 rolls and wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for sharing!!!
