I am really baffled by all the positive reviews. I followed the instructions to a T, did not overbeat, baked as directed and left in the oven to cool for 5 hours. It developed huge cracks. Like others have said, it had a very grainy texture and very eggy tasting. Absolutely awful. No one in my family liked it. I am an experienced cheesecake maker. I usually make "Suzette's Ultimate Turtle Cheesecake". Not on Allrecipes. Google it. People I've served that cheesecake to have described it as "superb", "divine", "best cheesecake I've ever had". My 12 year old wanted plain cheesecake for his birthday tomorrow, not the marbled chocolate and vanilla Suzette's. So I looked and found this. I should have stuck with my tried and true and just left out the chocolate and turtle. So I will be staying up late to make Suzette's.
