Old-Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2013
Everybody in the house enjoyed these pancakes! We tried them plain, with blueberries and with chocolate chips. (I added the blueberries or chips after the batter had rested for the five minutes). They are a delicious choice and just as easy to make as a box mix. They will be a new favorite on Sunday mornings!

Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
Excellent flavor! My only change was making my own taco seasoning (from allrecipes.com) because I didn't have any on hand. This was so simple and made such a tasty, healthy dinner!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
Mmm!!!! What a fantastic recipe! I love to have a reason to use my bread maker. I followed the recipe exactly as written and ended up with the tastiest cinnamon rolls ever! I think they were even better than Cinnabon! I took one reviewers suggestion of flipping the over once I took them out of the oven, I scraped the melted brown sugar filling off the bottom of the pan, flipped them back in, spread the cinnamon sugar mix on them and then topped with the icing. perfection! Next time I will try refrigerating the dough so I can have them freshly made in the morning with a nice cup of coffee!

Turkey Soup with Slickers

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
What a tasty and easy recipe! I made a turkey soup last year and it got all mushy when I added the rice. I love that this recipe is with dumplings instead. I followed the recipe exactly except I only added 1/2 of the dumplings. I used about 3 1/2 cups of flour when making my dough, so I ended up with a lot. I didn't want it to take over the soup as I like mine more brothy. It was excellent! The husband and 2 year old gobbled it up!

Pork Roast with Sauerkraut and Kielbasa

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
what a fantasic recipe! I made this for New Year's Eve and ate the leftovers on New Year's Day for good luck. I followed the recipe except that I also added a 1/2cup of Ginger ale and I also sprinkled caraway seeds on top of my sauerkraut. I had a four lb roast, so I browned it for 10 min, then cooked it on low for an hour and then high for 6 hours. It was still so juicy and tender the next day! A definite keeper!

Seared Ahi Tuna Steaks

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
Very tasty, qucik and easy...my three favorite things in a recipe. This is the second time I've made this recipe. The first time, I didn't have any smoke...this time I had to cover my smoke alarm with a dish towel!! (Not sure what happened there) Nonetheless, both times resulted in a very tasty dish.

Puttanesca I

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
Fantastic! It's great to be able to make such a flavorful sauce without having to stand around a stove all day! I did not think it was salty as some other reviewers have said. I loved the taste that resulted from the anchovies, capers and olives! Will be making this again and again!

Eggplant Parmesan

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
What an excellent and easy dish. I've tried different recipes for eggplant parmesan in the past and have always found them to be very oily. This turned out perfect with loads of flavor from the basil and paremsan cheese blend. I served this alongside pasta topped with puttanesca sauce. Yum! I even got a "10" from my husband! Will definitely make this again!

This has become a favorite dish of mine! I love how quick and easy they are to make. I used about 2 oz. of cream cheese instead of 3 oz. I can't wait to try these again with avocado, as someone esle has mentioned.

Yakisoba Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
DELICIOUS! My husband and I love the yakisoba noodles that we get at a local sushi place and I've been wanting to try it at home. He said these were eve better! My 18 month old also loved this dish. I was surprised at how she kept asking for more even though this was a ver hot dish! Definitely a new favorite! Next time I am going to try it with shrimp.

Apple Crisp Cups

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
Very tasty but also very time consuming. I made them for a party and it worked out great. My only issue was that the crust fell apart as I tried to get them out of the cups. They still tasted great. I used 3 large mcintosh apples and got exactly 48 servings. For those people who said they didn't have enough filling, maybe your apples were a bit smaller? I would definitely make them again.
