Johnsonville Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2014
Definitely set the sausage out for 20 to 30 mins before mixing. I grated my own cheese and used the dough hook on my KA to mix the ingredients. I used a cookie scoop for the sausage balls and placed them on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. The All Natural Hot Ground Italian Sausage puts these over the top. Make ahead and freeze for later.

Leftover Turkey Frittata

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2014
I just happened to have leftover turkey with the the fixins' when I stumbled across this. A perfect frittata for the left overs. I wouldn't hesitate to serve this to company for Thanksgiving weekend or any other time for that matter.

PAM® Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2014
A super simple recipe using a handful of everyday ingredients. If you feel that the top crust will be a bit tricky just roll out the crescent rolls between two pieces of parchment paper to fit your baking dish. Remove one piece of parchment, place the dough on top and peel away the other piece of parchment. As a change of pace we like to drizzle caramel over the top in place of honey. If you want to impress last minute dinner guests this is it. CandelB thank you for this great recipe.

Bowl of Oatmeal Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2014
Really easy to make and packs a lot of flavor. Definitely will make again. This took 5 minutes in my 1000 watt microwave. Not quite the texture of an oatmeal cookie but the flavor is there.

Wonderful Fried Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2014
These were great. The only problem I had was with the mayo. I added a little ground chipotle to the mayo and it brought these up to 5 stars. I cut the fish to fit the tortillas I was using.

Baja Sauce for Fish or Shrimp Tacos

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2014
Perfect blend of flavors. The ground ancho chile pepper lends a mild heat and a sweet fruity flavor. I have also tried this with ground chipotle chile pepper for more heat and a smoky flavor. Either way this is a 5 star recipe.

Paleo Cauliflower Rice

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2014
I thought this would be a little bland but I was wrong. The flavor comes through well. I will definitely be making this again. A cheese grater works well making the cauliflower into rice.

A great refreshing salsa that pairs well with chips or as a topping for Mexican food. Made exactly as written. No need for changes.

Mexican Turkey

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2014
A great recipe for leftover turkey. The only thing missing here was some heat so I added some dice jalapeno that brought it up to a five star recipe.

Quick Turkey Taco Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2014
Not being a big fan of what I call weeds - mixed salad greens and fresh herbs - I decided to go for it anyway and I am so glad I did. The mixed salad greens and fresh herb provided the perfect blend of flavors. I made my own taco salad bowls and served the taco salad in them. Thank you ciheins for a great recipe and and changing my mind on weeds.

Avocado Slaw

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2014
This slaw has a great blend of flavors. I toasted the sesame seeds for that added depth of flavor and added more lime juice to taste. The slaw without avocados is good too.

Ultimo's No-Bake Blueberry Squares

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2014
Oh my goodness! This is awesome. This doesn't cut real pretty but what the heck I would eat it with a spoon, it's that good. I did follow some of the reviews by baking the graham crust at 350 for 8 minutes, used one tablespoon of sugar in the graham cracker crust, 3/4 cup of sugar in the mixture with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 2 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Perfect.

Taco Bean Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2014
A great blend of fiesta flavors going on here. I used freshly made pico de gallo for the salsa and spread the Taco Bean Dip on crispy tostada style tortillas prior to melting the cheese.

Sweet and Sassy Popcorn

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2014
I used a 3 oz bag of popcorn and smoked paprika. As a heat lover this turned out perfect. For those that are not into the heat factor I highly recommend cutting back on the cayenne pepper.

Midnight Snack Avocado Sandwich

How can you go wrong with bacon and avocado? I mixed a teaspoon of mayo with the mashed avocado and green onions. Seasoned the mixture with garlic salt to taste and assembled the sandwich. Great flavors.

Tuna Tostadas I

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2014
These are quick and easy to make. I used solid white Albacore packed in water. The creaminess of the refried beans pair well with the tuna and lime. If you use a good quality tuna don't be afraid to make this.
