All Dressed Up For The Party

Yep, serape fits.

lutzflcat asked me, "Where's the sombrero?"

Oh yeah, hold on a minute.

OK, there and it fits.

jrbaker said, "That thing needs a mustache."

Um, yes but I don't have one.

CindyLepp, "Black construction paper."

Good idea CindyLepp. OK, working on it, stand by.

TA-DA!

Senor Sauza!

Now, LET'S GET THE PARTY STARTED!

Start out in Southern California with a beautiful and awesome hostess, Marianne and...

...and her equally awesome husband...

..., thank them for allowing us into their beautiful home for such a great party.

Chillin' before the party.

Surround yourself with gorgeous ladies, lot's of Sauza Tequila and you have the beginnings of the most memorable party this side of the Mississippi.

(l to r) Marianne, Cathy Meyers, Baking Nana, mauigirl, Candice, Noemi, 1st Lady, Gabriella and gammaray (xray barb).

Set up for some fun and drinks.

mauigirl with her incredible knack for decorating.

Get ready to mix margarita recipes.

Baking Nana, "That's a lot of Sauza Tequila for one drink." Marianne, "No look here, servings for 8." Baking Nana, "Whew, had me worried."

Nine > Sauza recipes from Allrecipes.com were tested and I believe that the Simply Classic Sauza(R)-Rita came out on top.

The abundance of homemade foods were incredible. Too many photos and too little time to post all. This blog could have easily turn into three parts but then again maybe not. I would have to change all of the names to protect the innocent.

Now for the group photo.

Hurry up!

Note to self: Set timer on camera for a longer time.

There! I made it.

What a great group of people and fun.

Thank you again Marianne for hosting a great party.

What a great deal of fun that looked like! Thanks for sharing it. IT brings back painful memories of getting sick on tequila. Of course I had gotten drunk of scotch earlier and that might have had something to do with it... Ah my younger days. They seem like a blur. For good reason!
