Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
I agree with alot of the reviews of this cookie. But instead of the 1/4 cup of dough I used a large round tablespoon and cooked for about 8 minutes. Worked great.

Love it. This is a great, fast and easy dish to prepare. The only change I did was instead of putting it in the oven I mixed all the ingredients in the pan I cooked the pasta in and left it on the burner set on simmer for 20 minutes. It worked great. Thanks Don for sharing this recipe.

Mediterranean Lasagne

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2014
If I could give 10 star I would. Do to my family likes I did some tweaking on the first part. Since I was going to use bolognaise sauce in some additional recipes I uses 1.3 kg (about 3 lbs.) of ground beef. Since this was 4xs what the recipe call for I increased the onion, carrots, celery and spices by 4x. When it came to the wine, tomato paste and diced can tomatoes I only double that since we prefer stick to pasta sauces. Simmered for a couple of hours. From this stage I used it on top of spaghettini, then several soup ladles added to a box of mac and cheese. Last night did the cheese sauce and from there completed the recipe as written. Just loved this every time.

Homemade Shake and Bake Mixture

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2013
This is a great recipe. I reduced the salt. a lot and it worked great. First I did not added the salt, reduced the celery salt to 3/4 tbsp and changed the garlic salt to garlic powder. This makes enough for several meals if you use a separate bag to coat the meat. will be making again.

Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2014
Everyone just loved this recipe. I did not have enough low salt soya so I had to use 1/2 cup soya then added 1/2 cup low salt teriyaki sauce. I have found that there was lots of marinade to do double the meat as a result I was able to marinade 6 chicken legs and 2 breast halves. LOL this is for 4 people. Loved so much nothing was left over. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

M's Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2014
Family just loved this dish. I did a couple of tweaks and one mistake so it proves that this is a versatile dish. We do not enjoy canned veggies so I used leftovers which I had cooked around the chicken. I added 1/2 cup turnip, 1 cup carrots and 1/2 cup tatters along with 3 cups of chicken. This is where I made the mistake I added 1 cup of chicken juices (from when I roasted the chicken), 1 cup water then 2 cups of chicken broth. Yes this was more liquid then called for however it did thicken up quite nicely. Once I filled up the pie crust I found that I had some leftover to which I added leftover egg noodles and this made a nice side dish to the pie. Yes I will be doing this dish again. Thank you Semigourmet for such a wonderful dish.
