Under an hour Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2015
Wow great rolls. Fast and easy to put together. Did follow another suggestion and cut the sugar back just a little. Also used only 1/3 cup of oil. Using my kitchen scales weighted out 2 oz of dough before rolling into balls. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Apple Pancake

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2015
For the flavour family loved the recipe which I made as written. There are a couple of notes that I would like to make. #1 the recipe does not say what size of pan to use. I used an 9 inch skillet and found that it was to large for the recipe. #2 the consistence of the batter was more like that of a crepe but when I check out a crepe recipe found out that the liquid and flour ratio was even less that this. Family has already requested that I make again which I will do but will try to have the batter more of a pancake consistence.

Apple Banana Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2015
Wow family loved this recipe. The recipe does not say what size or kind of apple to use so I had used two large Jazz (at least label on the apples say will check on proper name later). Found that batter was very thick may have over beat the shortening. I had made 12 cupcakes and one 8 inch round cake. Found that they were moist and full of flavour and not one ingredient overpowered the other. Just used basic butter/cream cheese frosting but used banana extract instead of vanilla extract. Will be making again.

We loved these cookies. I used I Cannot Believe it is Not Butter. I have been using this in all my baking due to Drs. orders. It worked great. Was only able to add 1/2 tbsp. of red food colour as that was all,I had. Was still pleased with the colour. Thank you Chef V for this wonderful recipe. Will be making again.

Wow this is fantastic. Family just raved about this recipe. Just a word on this. I had used may largest fry pan and found that as I had put the meat in it was not going to be big enough. Had to use my large stock pot. It worked great for me. Will be making again.

Spicy Lamb Patties

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2015
Wow these are good and flavour wise would love to give 5 stars but I had one issue. When I started to form the patties they just would not stay together. So I added 1 egg which helped but since I was doubling the recipe maybe should have added 2 as I was have slight issues. When you are making this dish please remember to check the heat level of the curry. There are 3 levels mild, medium and strong. If you have not used curry then try the mild. We use curry powder a lot so I used medium and it was fine for us. Thank you for sharing this wonderful dish.

Wow Yummy bread. Made this to go with dinner tonight. Could not wait so had a slice. The bread is fantastic. I did leave the salt out due to blood pressure and I did not miss it. Thank you anninlondon for sharing this wonderful recipe. Will be making again with one of the suggestions you made.

Ultimate Guinness® Beef Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2015
Wow loved this recipe. The house smelled great while this was cooking. Only change I made was add some mushrooms because we loved them. Also before I had heated the oil and bay leaves I had prepped the meat, onions and mushrooms ahead of time this to prevent the burning of the bay leave as per one reviewer had mentioned. Then as they were frying prepped the tatters and carrots. Will be making again.

Spicy Sausage Cheese Chowder Recipe by whodunitrdr

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2015
Absolutely loved this recipe. May drop the milk by 1 cup the next time I make it. Allowed the soup to simmer for 1 1/2 hours after I had added the dry spices. All had added the tobacco at this stage as well. After I added the milk allowed to simmer for another 1/2 hour. Then added the four mixture and cheese. Chowder simmered for another couple of yours before we ate. Will be making again.

We love this dish. This is the third time I have made it. The first two exactly as written and we loved it. Did a minor tweak this time. To the sour cream mixture I added two oz.. of jhalanio Havarti cheese. Work great added a little extra heat. LOL maybe to much for me so will cut the cayenne pepper back next time. Will be making again.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2015
Just loved this recipe. I used it on a 3 lb. boneless inside blade roast. Put the roast in the marinade at 8 am while it was still frozen. As it defrosted the marinade did work through the meat. Roasted in my roasting pan using tatters and carrots as a trivet. Also poured about 1 cup of the marinade in the pan with about 1/8 cup of water. Will be making again.

French Toast Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2015
This is a great recipe. I double the recipe so that I could have some to pop into a toaster. Only change was use 2/4 cup of 35% milk and 1 1/14 cup 2% milk as I did not have enough 2% in the house. Worked great will be making again.
