Honey Curried Roasted Chicken and Vegetables

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2014
Loved this dish. The only change I did was instead of boiling/steaming the veggies I put them around the chicken right from the start. Was only able to make 1/2 the sauce as I only had 1/3 cup of honey so put on top of the chicken. Will be making again.

Turkey Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2014
Wow this is good recipe. Following others advice I did the following; I tripled the sauce next time may do 4x's as it is needed and also added some fresh grated parmesan cheese and black pepper. To the onion and celery added diced red pepper and 1 tsp. of Italian seasoning then added turkey so they would all have a chance to meld. Will be making again. Thank you Bonnie G for sharing this recipe.

Indian Curry Potato Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2014
WOW what a wonderful dish. Full of great flavour. As a suggestion when cooking this wonderful dish make sure the fan on the stove is turned on as the smell of the spices will permeate through the whole house. And make sure that the tatters are evenly diced as well as some may take longer to cook. Thank you Patricia for this wonderful dish will be making again.

Good, Bad, and Yummy Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2014
Flavour wise this recipe is great but the pancakes did not fluff up at all. I believe that it has to do with the amount of baking powder. When I checked other pancake recipes I have tried I found that for example one had 1 1/2 cups flour with 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder. As a result I feel that maybe 4 to 4 1/2 tsps. should be used. Will be doing again and will try this change. LEJOYROTHE Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2014
Everyone just loved this recipe. I did not have enough low salt soya so I had to use 1/2 cup soya then added 1/2 cup low salt teriyaki sauce. I have found that there was lots of marinade to do double the meat as a result I was able to marinade 6 chicken legs and 2 breast halves. LOL this is for 4 people. Loved so much nothing was left over. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

Italian Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2014
Wow this is great. Used Kraft Zesty Italian dressing and 1/2 tsp. of minced garlic (instead of garlic powder). Also had 4 boneless chicken legs and a large boneless breast. There was plenty of marinade for the whole lot. DS#2 BBQ the chicken after it marinated for about 6 hours. Meat was juicy and great flavour as the dressing did not over power the chicken. Will be making again.

Roasted Chicken Rub

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2014
This is a great rub. I had to do a couple of tweaks. Since I am restricted on salt did not add the salt also did not have celery flakes so I used 1/2 tbsp. of celery seed which ground up perfectly in the small blender. I used this mixture on a boneless pork shoulder roast which I roistered on the BBQ. DS#2 had been outside and came to me said that dinner smelled wonderful and he could not wait for it to be ready. The pork was full of great flavour and very moist. Will be making again. Thank you Semigourmet for this wonderful rub.

No Steak Sauce Required Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2014
Wow great recipe. I could not find Wishbone so used Kraft Zesty Italian dressing. DS#1 had picked up 6 lbs. of Sirloin Tip. I cut the roast in 1/2 and placed into two separate zip lock bags. There was enough for me to put 1/2 in each bag. After 6 hours put one into the freezer and roistered the other on the BBQ. Meat was tender and full of flavour. Will be doing again. Thank you Saveur for sharing this great recipe.
