Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2014
My uber picky 3 1/2 year old chowed these down. My skeptical husband did as well. What a great way to get a vegetable into breakfast.

Applesauce Cake IV

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
My husband said this was one of the best snack cakes he has ever had. I switched up the recipe by using 1/2 cup brown and 1/2 cup white sugar and a teaspoon and a half of apple pie spice instead of the cinnamon and cloves. Great way to sneak in more fruit to my kid's diet. ;)

German Chocolate Cake Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2012
Wonderful! Used half a cup of evap milk (just what I had open in the fridge) and half a cup of whole milk. Cooked for 12 minutes but ended up putting in a little corn starch for insurance. Turned out perfect and so delish! I will never, ever buy German chocolate frosting from the store again!

Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2012
I made it with Classico Four Cheese sauce and left out the extra onion, garlic and peppers as I am trying to coax a picky 8 year old and 17 month old to eat with us. Success! I used non stick spray in the pan instead of foil (have you seen what they are charging these days?!) and had zero problems with sticking. There was plenty of sauce and lots of leftovers. Next time I will make two 9x9 pans for our family of four and will put one in the freezer for a crazy, no time to cook kind of day. This one is a keeper and will put it into our rotation.

Yummo! Added a handful of strawberries because it is Spring. Also added a couple of drops of red food coloring to make the fruit a pretty color. Thanks for sharing Jill!!

Pineapple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
Tasty sauce although I had to sweeten it and thicken it up a bit for my family's taste buds. I wish I could learn how to keep pork tender...any stove top recipe ends up tough. Hubby liked enough that he plans to take leftovers to work tomorrow.

Yummy! I plan to use another reviewer's suggestion and treat this as a freezer marinade for a quick low fat week night meal.

Fantastic recipe - but made with homemade pie crust. Don't wimp out and use Pillsbury.

This is a Christmas classic and I always make a double recipe so I can make Peanut Butter Blossoms too. (They are the exact same recipe.)

Peanut Blossoms II

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
These are a Christmas classic. I roll the dough in red and white rock sugar before baking to make them a bit more festive. And I always make a double batch so I have enough to make Peanut Butter Cup Cookies as they are the axact same recipe.

Chow Mein Noodle Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
I loved this cookie when growing up but we made 'Haystacks' with 1 cup of creamy peanut butter mixed into 2 cups of melted butterscotch chips. Then we used a combo of chow mein noodles and mini marshmallows mixed in and dropped on a cookie sheet. Chill for an hour and enjoy!
