Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2011
Everyone that ate it loved it..the only thing I changed was I used cherry tomatoes and Real Bacon Bits, added grated carrots and peas. It chilled for about 5 hrs and the flavor was really good. I also liked it because it was easy. Making it again this weekend.

Garlic Mashed Cauliflower

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2014
I unfortunately only had a Smoothie Jr blender, (thats going to change,) so it was a pain to blend, i had to add a couple splashes of skim milk, but it turned out great! and smooth, i steamed the cauliflower for 25 minutes in my steamer per steamer directions and added it the way recipe says..i liked it although i may cut the parmesan by a little, it was a little much for me, but my boyfriend like it..i left dinner for him and came home and said how was the cauliflower? he said "what cauliflower? i ate mashed potatoes" i said nope it was cauliflower..SCORE!!.. which is a great substitute since he just got diagnosed with type II diabetes and was missing his mashed potatoes...it really makes about 2 healthy servings , which works out great for us...thanks, i shared with alot of my friends.

Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2015
I just made it tonight..I thought it tasted really good and i don't usually like a lot of cooked vegetables all mixed in together...i followed it exactly except made with whole grain penne pasta(12oz box which was still plenty) and added 8 oz of sliced mushrooms...my boyfriend ate 2 helpings, he really liked it...he said it tasted like goulash...but it didn't have the red sauce..he's diabetic and i was trying to make something good...SCORE!!!..plenty of leftovers(its only 2 of us), sent some down to his dad who i think will like it...i'd say 6-8 servings depending on how big of a serving..you know us Americans and our big portions!!!

Chicken Delicious

Reviewed: May 31, 2015
We just made it, it turned out pretty good. i followed angila's review directions due to there are only 2 of us and the adjustment for 2 servings calculator was ridiculous measurements...I did not use the cream of celery since that would have been too much sauce..I used 1 can of cream of mushroom and about 1/4 cup of low fat milk and mixed it with a 1/3 cup of real sherry..the store/kitchen stuff is nasty...I put in 2 large chicken breasts, put the spices on them as angila recommended (1/4 teaspoon of hot Hungarian paprika, celery salt, and ground black pepper. 1 tablespoon of fresh Lemon juice over the meat after sprinkling with the dry ingredients.) i sprinkled parmesan over enough to cover the breasts, poured the sauce mixture over top of them .i slow cooked on low for around 4 hrs..they were fine, i served with whole wheat pasta and poured some of the sauce over the breasts and the spaghetti...i thought it was enjoyable with the cream and sherry flavor and the hot paprika gave it a kick which i liked..my boyfriend liked it also and said he would definitely eat it again.

Honey-Garlic Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2015
Just made it in like 10 minutes into the crockpot., i was in a rush, threw everything in the crockpot, followed the directions except like others i doubled the thighs, mine were little so i could've added more...and i couldn't find the basil so i used the Perfect Pinch Italian Seasoning which i sub often for basil or oregano..turned out great ..my family liked it.. someone said on review too salty... i don't like salt , it was fine.. but i do always use low sodium soy sauce..thanks! we'll have it again.

Zucchini Ranch Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
the meatloaf itself was delicious ..the saucse was not a hit. My boyfriend and his dad who like steaksauce said they like it on steak, not on this meatloaf, said they'd prefer ketchup. i don't like steaksauce and liked it on this..so its really a matter of taste.
