Amazing Spicy Grilled Shrimp

This is the only way I cook grilled shrimp. I've made them about 20 times and they are always a hit. They are great left over, but we rarely have any. You can adjust the heat to your taste.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

From the mouth of the pickiest eater on the planet whom I have not seen eat fish since fish sticks when he was a toddler (he is 22 now) "you should cook fish all the time." What??? I have to admit, this is the ONLY way I'll cook tilapia from now on! I followed the suggestions by adding: garlic salt, paprika, celery seeds, Old Bay to the fillets and panko bread crumbs at the lat minute to the topping mixture. Veery thin filets, 2 mins on each side and then added topping until brown and so appetising looking! !

Washabinaros Chili

I read this recipe has won contests and it did for me too!! I made a couple of alterations: added cubed sirloin, one can each of kidney beans, black beans and pinto beans, and 1/4 c bittersweet chocolate. I named it "Triple Threat Throwdown Chili" (3 kinds of meat, 3 kinds of beans and 3 kinds of peppers). I entered it into a contest where there were 20 entries and won first place for the chili and first place for the name! It is really good - wonderful depth of flavor. You should try it and don't be afraid of the peppers - they add lots of flavor.

Whiskey Hamburgers

Followed recipe and added 1c diced onion and 1 diced jalapeño . They were moist and had a great flavor! A real keeper recipe.

This is a great special occasion recipe! I added minced garlic and equal parts OJ and wine (Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio). Also threw in peeled shrimp last few minutes. After I removed all from pan, turned to high and reduced by half. It was the BEST dipping sauce ever!

Rubbed and Grilled Pork Loin

Loved this rub! You know it is great when guests ask what kind of rub you used. I used powder instead of onion & garlic salts and it was nice to pile it on and not have to worry about being too salty. Will definitely be making it again.
