Strawberry Spice Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2009
I love this bread. I always have strawberrys around the house for the kids and this is a great breakfast bread!! I coat my pans with a little sugar before pouring the mixture in the prepared pan and when it comes out in makes a little crust on top of the bread.

White Velvet Cutouts

These are great! They are soft and not too crunchy...especially if you make them a little thicker and big. I cut mine out in the shape of a football and dipped them in chocolate and then put white icing on top like lacing for the Superbowl.BIG HIT!!

These were very dry and didn't stick together very well. They needed something. Maybe chocolate chips added to the sugar mixture.

Everyone really like this recipe! I tripled the recipe and froze some of these for later. When mixing the muffins, I used 1/2 brown sugar and half granulated sugar. It gave them a ricer taste.

French Onion Soup Gratinee

This was a very good recipe. I actually tried it for a family event that we were having. Although I did not add quite so many onions (I couldn't quit crying and had to stop cutting)it was received very well. Yummy!!!

Beef Samosas

Like everyone else, I loved the taste of this recipe. I have four teenagers, so I made a few changes...I mixed up the filling mixture except I used finely diced potatoes instead of mashed and I placed it all in a 9x13 pan and I placed cresent rolls on the top as a crust. Kids said it was yummy!!!

French Silk Chocolate Pie II

Yummy Yummy! Except I used a chocolate premade crust. Thye first time that I made it though, I didn't whip it long enough and it was runny. BUT we froze it and it was a VERY rich, yummy desert pie.

Red Hot Baked Apples

We always make these as a treat for the kids and adults too. I make them on the stovetop in a big soup pan and fill the bottom with water, then spoon the mixture over the apples every once in a while.
