Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
I make this at least twice a month. Very good. I do substitute brown sugar for the white and I use apple cider vinegar. I also cut slits all over the roast and insert garlic slivers. I double the seasonings since i like a well seasoned roast. Be careful of the cooking time. I used a smaller roast and it was done in 1.5 hours.

Very tasty! I only had 1lb of turkey so I used 3/4 of the packet of soup mix. I also added some garlic powder and a dash of italian seasoning. Kids loved them. Thanks!

Great recipe. I used fresh steamed green beans and mixed in some cheese into the beans as well as putting the cheese on top. There were no leftovers.

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
Absolutely delicious! We like our prime rib medium, so I turned the oven back on for an hour. Like a previous reviewer, I combined this recipe's cooking method and used the seasonings from Garlic Prime Rib, found on this site. Perfect!

Spinach Enchiladas Verde

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
Awesome recipe. I changed it a bit by sauteeing some garlic and onion in a bit of oil, then added a can of black beans, seasoned it with cumin, and then added frozen spinach. I used 2 packages of spinach because my family loves it. I layered it like a casserole. Delish!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Good, moist chicken. Didn't have any white pepper, but the chicken was delicious without it. My 2, 4.5lb birds were done in about 4 hours.

Slow Cooker Collard Greens

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
Very good recipe. I used smoked turkey legs and instead of boiling the meat on the stove first, I threw everything into the crockpot. I put in 2 cups of chicken broth and cooked on low for 6 hours.

My husband and kids loved these! I adjusted the milk and the sour cream to our liking and put the green onions on top instead of mixing them in. Very tasty!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
This is in regular rotation at our house. My kids love it. My breasts were a little thick, so I pounded them thin which reduced the cooking time. I also pour any leftover topping over the chicken before baking. Used panko bread crumbs for extra crunch.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
I made this for my family and they seemed to enjoy it. I had 5 1/2 lb pork butt and cooked it on low for 9 hours. After putting in all the ingredients, I sprinkled the top of the roast with garlic powder and also added a couple of splashes of liquid smoke. After cooking, I drained the juice from the crockpot and put the shredded meat back in with a cup of BBQ sauce. Delicious.

Seared Sea Scallops

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2010
Like a previous reviewer, I didn't coat my scallops in flour. I just mixed the seasonings in a bowl and tossed the scallops in the bowl to coat. I did add a tablespoon of garlic powder to the mixture because we love garlic. Seared the scallops on medium high heat, turning them once. I didn't do mine in batches, but put all of them in at the same time. At the end of cooking, I deglazed the pan with some white wine , lemon juice, and a bit a butter. I boiled the sauce until thickened and poured it over the scallops. I served it with rice pilaf and a salad. Delicious
