Blueberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2004
The muffins rose and looked good. However, 400 degrees for 20 minutes is a bit much they were burnted. If I make them the next time, I would suggest decreasing the temperature and the baking time.

Dry Rub for Ribs

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2004
This was the best dry rub. Thanks for sharing. Used this rub on the Baby Back Rib recipe that was submitted by Ken Heffner. They turned out really great.

Beef Florentine

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2003
Just wanted to say that everyone in our family loved this recipe. The only thing that I did different was omitted the salt and oregano and added Italian Seasoning. I also lined a 9 x 13 baking dishing with half of a small jar of pizza sauce and then added the rest of the pizza sauce along with the tomato sauce to the ground beef mixture. Also, I didn't not have any ground beef at the moment and substituted ground veal. Next, time I think I'll try Italian sausage. Will be keeping this recipe as part of my list. Thanks for sharing.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2001
This recipe was a success at my house. The only thing I did different was put the turkey in a cooking bag and added some chicken broth and let the turkey rock. My husband was amazed at when the turkey was done and he was ready to carve it, it just peeled right of the carcas. Thanks so much for sharing. The clean-up was really easy too.

Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2001
This was a great recipe and easy too. The flavor is just to die for. However, I did not care too much for the daffodil cake.

Daffodil Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2001
First, the Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting is wonderful. However, the cake itself was not thrilling to me. It was flat. Either I over beat the eggs or something but it was not fluffy. Second, I would recommend using a nonstick coating spray in the pan. Especially if you do not have a nonstick tube pan. It did not come out clean. In fact, it broke.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2001
This recipe was the best. The pork chops came out really tender and juicy. Instread of frying the chops for 5 mins. per side. I used my new George Foreman Grill and gilled them for 5 mins. It cut down alot on the cooking time. My husband really liked them and therefore this recipe will be a keeper. Thanks again for sharing.

Easy Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2000
I do not have children so I could not rate this recipe for kids. However, my husband and I loved this recipe. It will go into my book to use as one of our favorite meals. As far as easiness and quickness, you can't beat it. Thanks for sharing

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2000
Not sure about kid friendly rating because I don't have kids. However, it was my mistake not do have doubled this receipe because my husband had helped himself to BIG helpings and it was almost gone. Next time I'll just have to double the recipe. Thanks for sharing.

Glazed Pork Chop

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2000
I substitued brown and spicy mustard and did not use the fresh lemon juice. It was very good and my husband liked it. Although he said it needed something else like may be some onions. Anyway I'll be making it again

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2000
These were the easiest ribs I have ever made. Clean-up was a snap. My husband really loved the taste. Will keep this as part of my recipe collection. Just a simple note I used the Dry Rub for Ribs submitted by Denise smith to enhance the flavor. I also used foil on the bottom of the pan in addition to wrapping each rib. These were the only enhancements made. Thanks again for sharing
