This has got to be the best chili I've ever made. Seriously. My initial thought when reading this recipe that was sweet potato and cinammon don't belong in chili -- but because of the ratings I thought I'd give it try, especially since I was in the mood for something different. I followed the directions exactly, except I omitted the beef and used ground turkey. It was delicious the first day, but it was outstanding the second day. The trick is to eat it the day AFTER you cook it, so there's time for the flavors to mellow together. I be will using this recipe for our office chili cook-off in February.
