I'm happily married since November 2009. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer 2 days after our wedding, had surgery after our honeymoon,and now am in recovery. I enjoy reading and interior design. We love to travel and take cruises. We have 4 "fur children", 2 cats and 2 dogs. I love to bake most of all, and I'm always trying new recipes. My husband planted a huge garden this year, and I'm trying to incorporate all the produce into recipes. Homemade shortbread cookies for Christmas; anything my mom bakes, but especially her streusel-topped apple pie and her chocolate cake. I have the cookie jar from my childhood and plan to keep it filled in my new house! My husband loves pretty much anything I cook! When I first started baking, I put paprika in an apple crisp instead of cinnamon...the jars were the same color.
