Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2013
I made this twice. The first time exactly as written, and the second with leftover mesquite-smoked chicken and plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, and it was incredible both times. Definitely a crowd pleaser. It's going on regular rotation in our meal plan!

Roasted Sage Broccoli

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2013
Waaaaayyyyy too salty. No one could eat it. I followed the instructions exactly, but what came out was inedible. Would omit most of the salt if I ever tried it again.

French Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2010
This bread is perfect! Everyone I make it for raves about it. I always bake it with a pan of water in the oven on the lower shelf - this produces a much nicer crust. Sometimes I use olive oil instead of water in the glaze.

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
Very nice. Just like cowboy cookies should be. The only change I made was substituting chocolate chips for butterscotch, since that's the way I prefer them.

Chris' Bay Area Burger

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
These burgers were a pretty big hit with my family, save for my youngest who thought the pepper made them a little too spicy. The only changes I made was substituting Worcestershire sauce for the olive oil to cut down of the fat and adding diced red onions. Next time I will probably add more garlic and touch less basil. Powdered onion soup might make a good addition or a substitute for the basil, too.

Dog Treats I

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
This is a great recipe to use as a base and my dogs love it! I substituted soy flour for the cornmeal and low sodium chicken broth for the milk, since neither is really that good for dogs (plus the soy and broth add extra protein). I made two flavors: ham and cheese by substituting ham drippings for the bouillon and peanut butter by substituting peanut butter for the cheese. Both were big hits with both my dogs and all the dogs who came by my table at the craft fair! Every one of them begged for more.
