Molasses Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2015
What a yummy way to bring out the taste of molasses! SO moist and rich. I used canola oil instead of the shortening to make it healthier and it still came out great! Next time I will try using half whole wheat flour to make it even more healthy. Definitely a keeper.

Fish Batter with Newcastle™ Brown Ale

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2014
This was insanely delicious! My children gobbled it up and didn't leave a single crumb. As did I. I used regular beer that I had on hand and fried it in my frying pan with lots of oil, didnt completely deep fry, but it was super duper crispy. I also only used 1/4 tsp of cinnamon, will try it with the full amount next time. I used tilapia fillets, but I'm sure this can be done with any white fish fillets you have around. This will be on regular circulation in my house!

Best Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
Amazing! I wouldn't change a thing in this recipe. The vanilla sauce is what makes this recipe stand out, so make sure you don't skip it!! If you don't like things too sweet, than cut down on the sugar a bit, but otherwise this is heavenly!

Steamed Fish with Ginger

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2010
Wow, this is SUCH a tasty dish!!! I did almost exactly what the recipe said except I only had dark soy sauce so I doubled it, and no peanut oil, so I doubled the sesame oil. Also, I had no fresh cilantro on hand, so I used the dried version. The taste is indescribable, this is definitely a must try!!!
