I did not like the tomato paste in it. After three hours of cooking, I couldn't stand the smell anymore so I dumped most of the sauce and added more broth back in and substituted sofrito instead. I will make this recipe again but use sofrito instead of tomato paste.

Sugar Cookie Icing

Elisa's Famous Fudge

This is way tooo sweet. Think of pure frosting and add about two cups of sugar to it. The recipe can be modified but as written, disgusting. I had bought all the ingredients so I took it to my Christmas party anyways and I had to laugh as people took their first bite of fudge and had horrible expressions on their face. Do not waste your time with this recipe.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Loved it! I did only use five pieces of bacon because that sounded like a scary amount of calories but I will definitely add more bacon next time. It gives it a really nice flavor.

Orange Cake

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Just okay for my family. Definitely need to liberally apply some sort of seasoning. I prefer Adobo which helped a bit. But my kids were not enthusiastic about this meal at all.

Cocktail Meatballs

Not too bad. Next time, I am going to cook the meatballs in a frypan and let them crisp up a bit. I think this would have made a huge difference.

Krista's Sticky Honey Garlic Wings

Soggy even when I put them on a grill rack with a pan underneath. The flavor was too bland for me. I put them under the broiler in hopes of salvaging my wings but still just blah!!!!!!!!! I'm actually going to take the leftover wings and stick them in the crockpot for a couple hours with a bottle of KC Masterpiece. Hopefully, they will be edible.

Chipotle Crusted Pork Tenderloin

This was a reallly good spin on pork tenderloin. The only problem I had was finding the chipotle chili seasoning. I don't like searching more than one store for ingredients so I settled for McCormick's cowboy rub which the main ingredient is chili powder. This was a perfect substitute and not too hot for my little ones.

The Real Mojito

This recipe is so AWESOME!!! I made it exactly as is and it was so good. I made a second cup and used Fresca instead of club soda and it was equally good but you could add more liquor to it this way without it being overpowering. I could probably drink 10 cups but I won't.
