Easy Butternut Squash Ravioli

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
Yum yum yum!!! Fantastic flavors and very easy to make. I too omitted the egg yolk and added extra cayenne pepper. Wonton wrappers are key! I actually have a dumpling press so that little guy made making this dish super easy. My boyfriend LOVED this. It's a perfect seasonal, homey recipe. Thanks Chef John!!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
Love this recipe!! It's my generic cookie recipe and I just add whatever I want. The chic chip/walnuts combo is the best :) This was a great find! Thanks!!

Curried Quinoa

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2012
Very tasty!! I cubed and sauteed some chicken breast...added to the quinoa mix about 5 min shy of the 25 min simmer. I also added some water (about 1/2 c.) in addition to a can of reduced sodium chicken stock. I will definitely add tomatoes and veggies, maybe chickpeas (as seen in previous review) next time, just to bulk it up a bit and make it more like a main dish. The flavor was really great and just the right amount of spicy!! Yum!!!

Roasted Vegetable Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
Yum! Gave only 4 stars simply because I made some changes. Sauteed mushrooms and onions and added to cheese/egg (real egg) mixture. Chopped up roasted veggies and tossed with some EVOO and salt/pepper. Layered as suggested and it came out amazing! My boyfriend had three helpings :)

Kabobs

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
Fantastic recipe! Marinated chicken (overnight) and veggies (about 4 hours) separately. Added fresh pineapple and zuchinni. Also used fresh ginger and garlic. Soaked my skewers for about an hour in water. The chicken was moist and very flavorful. Recieved wonderful reviews from my cookout guests. With definitely use again and again!!

Pot Stickers Traditional

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
Yum! The filling was delish! Tasted so authentic, I couldn't believe that I made it :) I considered a previous reviewers advice to take the pot stickers from the oil pan to a pan with water to steam, however my bf is Chinese, so I called his mom and she said to do it exactly as the recipe. The trick I think is to heat the oil on medium heat, not high. Worked beautifully! I'm going to show her how, thanks to allrecipes.com, I'm an Asian chef!!

Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
What an awesome, easy recipe!! I followed previous suggestions and marinated the chicken in lemon juice (wonderful added zing--excellent suggestion), sauteed a garlic clove in butter before adding chicken, and added white wine before whipping cream for the sauce. Delicious! Will definitely be making again and again!
