About this Cook
Being a previous foster parent I learned to adjust as each child came into our home. Growing up I never was taught to cook, so once I was on my own I went crazy!!! Cookbooks, Food Channel, online, friends, and family have given me a new outlook on food with all the recipes out there! I'm always looking for the newest things in cooking. I really enjoy watching the "Food" channel and getting ideas,then going to work in the kitcken. I am putting together a recipe book for my children, so as they leave the home they are able to take along the taste of homemade cooking.
My favorite things to cook
Casseroles, because you can hide so many diffrent things in them and the kids have no idea they are getting all there veggies.

Fried Black-Eye Peas
I was plesently surprised with these! I fixed up a batch and served them with some fish and eveyone really enjoyed them! I pattied them out alot smaller and it seemed to work out great! Thank you for sharing this recipe with us!

I LOVE this! I made it for Thanksgiving and it was so easy and everyone praised it! I didn't brush it with butter or egg and it come out perfect! One bit of advice I would give, is don't stretch the dough to much as you wrap it around the aluminum foil because it will cause issues and as it bakes it may split and you will end up with holes here and there. I did also make a bowl to but dip in. I used the ame technique as the cornucopia and it turned out wonderful! I had made a lattes pattern for the bottom and it was so neat looking! I may try and use that same pattern on my next cornucopia!

Easy Italian Stuffed Shells and Meatballs
I changed several things, but the concept of Jumbo Shells stuffed with meatballs is wonderful!
