Easy Creamy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2002
I just made this recipe today and absolutely love it. Super easy!! But I did read the reviews and then tweaked it slightly. I put in 1 can of each....cream of celery, potato, and mushroom. I also cut up small carrots and sprinkled with parsley for color and presentation. I did not add any salt, even to the instant rice, due to all the salt in all the soups and it was just right. I rubbed the tenderloin with garlic/lemon/pepper seasoning very generously. This is a definite keeper!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe and all the "tips". Oodles_OR

Apple Butter III

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2002
This is a truly outstanding recipe. Both my MIL and FIL are diabetics. I did not use quite all the juice, but otherwise it is thee most perfect apple butter I've ever made! Just the right amount of "spices"! Thank you for sharing this recipe. I will be making this for years to come!!

Fresh Salsa I

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2002
This is an excellent recipe! The only thing I did different was to drain the whole tomatoes, as we prefer a "thicker" salsa and I only used 2 jalapenos after reading all the reviews. DH took a double batch with him to work today and it was gone within 2 hours! Plus I got several requests for the recipe. Thank you for posting this superb recipe!

Baked Seafood Au Gratin

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2003
This was awesome and leftovers were even better! The only changes I did was... instead of water, I used 2 cups clam juice (major flavor booster) and only 2 cups milk. Pretty much followed the main recipe other than that. thanks for sharing a great recipe.

Alla Checca

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2003
This was a totally awesome recipe! I made it last night and served it tonight. I just can't say enough about this recipe. I served it with cheese ravioli. DH thought there was not enough "sauce".......but this is the WAY pasta SHOULD be served!!!! Not all GOOPED up! Thank you for a real "keeper"!!

Strawberry Cake from Scratch

Reviewed: May 9, 2003
I made this cake today and took it to work. What an AWESOME cake! I had some strawberries that I had to use up and am I ever glad I checked here first! I did make it in a 13x9 inch pan instead of the double layer. Baked it for 45 minutes (glass). Then made a "fluff" topping made of 1/2 cool whip and 1/2 cream cheese. I whipped these together till smooth and then stirred in about a cup of finely chopped strawberries. Did I ever get the rave reviews. Each person actually took a piece of cake and then spooned the "fluff" over that. Thanks for a great recipe!!!

Ga Ga Clusters

Excellent! The only change I made was adding melted caramels, drizzled over the top! Got rave reviews from everyone!!! Even those that do not particularly care for "marshmallow" stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2004
These are absolutely wonderful as almost everyone has said. The spices are perfect and really what makes them so wonderful. As she has said...DO NOT OVERBAKE...perfect, perfect, perfect!!! My husband hates raisins and ended up actually complimenting these. What better review could you get. Thank you for a wonderful recipe. I followed everything to the tee, except, after reading all the reviews....I decided to make a double batch. LOL Thank goodness I did!!

Simply the Easiest Beef Brisket

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2004
My husband absolutely LOVED this dish. And nothing could be "easier"!!! I did cut back on the brown sugar and only used a 1/2 cup as others had suggested. I will probably only use 1/4 cup next time. But believe me.....I WILL make this over and over and over!! Thanks for a GREAT recipe!!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2004
I made this recipe this past summer when my inlaws were visiting. I, myself, am not a big red meat eater, but I do have to say that this is absolutely the easiest and delicious recipe for roast that I have come across. Even my inlaws were going back for 2nds. DH usually loves anything as long as it is connected to food...LOL! Thanks for another great recipe.

Sarah's Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2004
This has an awesome flavor. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is that my DH prefers a much "thicker" salsa. But if you like your salsa on the "thinner" side...you will LOVE this!! Thank you for a great recipe.

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2004
I took this a barbeque tonight and got rave reviews from everyone. One guest said that she has had this type of salad before but all you could taste in the others, was the spinach and the strawberries. She said this had a wonderful flavor, a sort of tangyness but sweet all at the same time. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Affy Tapple Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2004
I would give this 5 stars except that it really and truly needs to stay very cold or the flavor is not quite as good. But when it was cold, right from the frig....it was very good. I took it to a barbeque and it sat out for some time, thus not everyone was eating it or commenting on it. But I still think it is a very good recipe and quite "different"....thus the 4 stars.

Nutritious Lentil Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2004
You have to love lentils to really like this recipe. I took it to a barbeque tonight for a vegetarian friend and got lots of compliments on it. It is excellent either at room temperature or cold, right from the refrigerator. Thank you for a very good recipe. Will make this again.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2004
I got nothing but compliments on this dish tonight. I took it to a barbeque so I didn't put it in individual potato skins and instead put it into a 9x9 baking pan to finish baking for the last 15 minutes. It was sooooo good, that no one even bothered to put the extra sprinkling of cheese and bacon on it. Thank you for an excellent recipe.

Very bland, once dressed up with a bit more chicken boullion and sherry pepper sauce it was pretty good. Doubt will make again, but good for a one time meal. Super easy and quick to make though.

Real Texas Chili

Reviewed: May 4, 2004
This is a very good meat and broth type of chili. Not your typical, thick, tomato based chili. But still got excellent reviews from everyone that ate it. I thought one of my friends was actually going to "lick" the bowl..LOL. The only thing I added was a couple dashes of worcestershire sauce. Thank you for sharing.
