Schnitzel with a Twist

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
These are excellent but felt they were just a different twist on fried pork chops. The greek seasoning that you mentioned is awesome. I only fried them for 3 minutes each side and they were perfectly done. Also used 1/2 c. butter and 1/2 c. olive oil for frying them in....gotta watch the waistline somewhere along the way. Served with smashed, parsley red potatoes and green beans. Great meal.

Islander Artichoke and Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
Threw everything in my food processor and, BAM, I was done. Put a little bit of garlic powder in, just because. It is absolutly delicious. Didn't have any parmesan cheese but it is great without it. Put it all into the hawaiian bread bowl and served with ruffle potato chips also. Thanks for sharing.

perfection!!! Just got done making these. So easy, just threw everything into the food processor and let it go. Used a small melon baller to scoop them out and placed them on a cookie sheet. In the frig now to "set" and then will dip in chocolate. DH is going to loooooove these. Thanks for sharing.

absolutely wonderful. Did not change a thing except to add just a dash more of milk to the mushroom mixture to thin out a bit. The basic crepe recipe was perfect also. Only my 2nd time to make crepes and they were perfect. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Iowa Pork Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Very easy meal, super delicious. I skipped the browning stage and they still came out wonderful. Used fresh mushrooms (8 oz) since I needed to use them up. This was the first time that I have used pork "steaks" and believe it or not I have several packages of them in the freezer from when we got our whole pig last year. Didn't know what they were or what to do with them. Thanks for helping me out with this piece of meat. I did add some fingerling potatoes while the steaks cooked too. Very satisfying meal.

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2010
Absolutely wonderful. I had to use what I had on hand. I used ground buffalo and ground lamb. Vermont white cheddar, sharp cheddar and mozzarella. Threw in teaspoon of Italian herb blend. Spread meat onto wax paper, placed cheese down the middle and it was a snap to roll up. Sealed ends well and placed bacon over roll. Served with mashed potatoes and green beans.
