Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2012
WOW! This was a hit!! And it made a TON~ quantity AND quality! I omitted the beef. I used 2 jars of Classico sauce with spinach, and jazzed it up a bit (so it wouldn't taste like it came from a jar) I added garlic, onion, sugar, italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, and a can of diced tomatoes~ YUM!! I used penne instead of ziti, also. I layered in this order: a little sauce, 1/2 of the noodles, 1/2 of the remaining sauce, provolone slices, sour cream (a MUST!), other 1/2 of noodles, remaining sauce, mozzarella and parmesan. I sprayed the dish with cooking spray first, and also sprayed the aluminum foil, so the cheese woudn't stick. I used a dish a little bigger and deeper than a 9x13, and it was perfect! I wish there was more left over! :~D

Veggie Lover's Baked Ziti

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
Wonderful! Easy to alter with whatever you have on hand. Hubby does NOT like pasta (unless there is more meat on his plate than pasta), but a little italian sausage on the side takes care of that. KID PLEASER! But not childish-tasting!

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
WOW! This lasagna is great! I have made it 3 times since discovering the recipe a few months ago! Definately add frozen spinach to the cottage cheese mixture (gotta have a little green). I also change up the spices in the sauce each time depending on who the lucky eaters are!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
WOW!! I LOVE pulled pork and this was delicious! We even made more the next day to bring to a family get-together! Used a shoulder cut and Sweet Baby Ray's Original BBQ Sauce and 2 bottles of root beer (wasn't sure if the whole thing needed to be covered) DEFINATELY A KEEPER!!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
LOVE IT!! This has become a staple in our home! I always add carrots. We've had it with pre-packaged diced cooked ham, turkey kielbasa, leftover holiday ham... always great! I've done it in my slowcooker too. The husband and kiddos love it, too! SO EASY AND SO DELICIOUS!
