Cinnamon Rolls III

These are the BEST cinnamon rolls ever! I have earned a reputation as an expert baker, at work and with family, just because of these rolls! The only problem is...now everyone expects me to make them ALL THE TIME! I use a bit more butter and cinnamon in the fillng than the recipe calls for, because we like them extra gooey! My grandma would be so proud of me..her cinnamon rolls were the family standard for years. Thanks!

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

I used regular vanilla since there have been warnings about using Mexican Vanilla...some of it isn't vanilla at all but tonka bean extract which is extremely toxic. The cookies were great though and the butter flavored shortning made them stay soft and delicious. A fabulous cookie recipe that I will use again and again!

Deep Dark Chocolate Cake

I have used this cake recipe for 20 years and it is the absolute best! I used to bake cakes to sell, for birthday parties, functions, etc...this cake made my reputation! Sometimes I like to add 1tsp of almond extract instead of the vanilla or use hot coffee instead of the hot water. It gives it a wonderful flavor. Also, I change the frostings, sometimes I add cappucino powder to the frosting recipe and sometimes I frost it with peanut butter-cream cheese frosting. This cake recipe will never let you down!

Spinach Bread

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! This bread is awesome! I have a five year old son who won't eat anything green to save his life!!! He LOVES this bread! I even make his peanut butter sandwiches with it and he gobbles them up. I make a loaf twice a week. It's a blessing. Now, if someone could come up with broccoli bread that he'd eat...we'd be set!
