Tacos in Pasta Shells

Followed others advise and used taco seasoing for the meat instead of using chili. Everything else, I kept the same. The family loved them..Since I doubled the recipe..we had plenty of leftovers. Just as good, if not better, the next day warmed up in the Micro. Thanks for sharing!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Awesome… ridiculously easy recipe. Took advise of others and used a pork butt; a six pounder fills the Crockpot and made 16-18 good sized sandwiches-great on Bulky Rolls. Used enough broth to cover and added a beer and some brown sugar to the mix. Two barbecued thumbs up on this one.

Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo

Some changes I made was to crisp six slices of bacon in the pan (instead of using butter), then fry chicken in bacon fat. I crushed the bacon and added to sauce mix. Also substituted cream for the milk portion and topped the finished dish with Romano cheese. The changes added a “carbonara” like quality.

Apple Pie Bars

I used four good sized granny smith apples = 8 cups. I mixed ingredients and apples together in a bowl to evenly coat them. Great recipe, unlike other reviews, mine held up well for a few days.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Overall good recipe. Added 1 cup of chocolate chips as suggested by previous reviews--great idea. Definitely do not want to overcook, they become brittle--9-10 minutes was all we needed in 350 degree convection.
