Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2015
This soup is delicious. Perfect for cold winter nights. I, like other reviewers, used kale instead of spinach and I left out the crushed red pepper because I used hot italian sausage. I also used less potato. I used the little fingerling potatoes, maybe 1 LB and sliced them thin. I didn't make any other changes...I just doubled the recipe because we really can't get enough of it. For those who review it as bland, if you want to try it again, try it with hot sausage. All the flavor comes from that! It is so easy and yummy, it will now be a wintertime staple in my house.

Creamy Herbed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2015
Easy, tasty, delicious. The only thing I did differently was add a tablespoon of Dijon mustard to the milk. I followed the recipe aside from that. It was a big hit. The gravy is so good over potatos. The chips were succulent. This one is a keeper!

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2013
These fish tacos were incredible. As others stated, the sauce absolutely makes it. I added a little sea salt and fresh ground pepper and fresh cilantro to the existing recipe. For the fish, I am too lazy to batter and fry. I bought battered filets but my daughter ate them before I had chance to make this so I just baked Tilapia in Wegmans basting oil, salt and pepper. I used Wegmans Asian Slaw for the cabbage. I served them with the sauce, slaw, avacado, red onion and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Delicious, this recipe was a big hit in my house. This is a keeper.

Ghirardelli® Classic White Chocolate Creme Brulee

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
I would give this dish ten stars if I could! I usually tend to agree with Blondebiker on the validity of "white chocolate" but I decided to go with it. Boy was it worth it. I made the dish exactly as instructed with one exception. I don't have ramekins but I do have oven safe teacups so I used them. It turned out beautifully. I will definitely make this again for special occasions or just for the heck of it!

Cheese Souffles

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
This was delicious! I added extra cheese, I used a combo of swiss and cheddar. I didn't have ramekins so I used an over sized muffin pan. The cooking time was dead on, they came out perfect! It amazes me that something so simple could be so yummy. This dish wowed everyone. I served it to my family for valentine's day with a green salad...perfect! I will definitely make it again!

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Candy Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
I just made these yesterday for the first time. They taste very close to Peanut Butter Kandy Cakes by Tasty Cake. The next time I make them I will try using milk chocolate instead of semisweet. Everyone is enjoying them!

Skinny Fries

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
These were great. I used the butter but I also added a little bit of canola oil to help the crisp up and get the authentic french fry taste. I also tossed them in onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper BEFORE baking. Yummy! Everyone loved them.

This was absolutely delicious. I made it exactly as instructed and it was wonderful. My daughter, who doesn't like sausage, devoured it. This recipe is a keeper!
