I was honestly disappointed with this recipe. I had such high expectations because I love capers. Pretty sure the dill week ruined it for me. It also could have been because I didn't make it exactly as written. I didn't have heavy whipping cream on hand, so I combined 3 tbsp unsalted butter with 2 tbsp flour and 6 tbsp unsweetened almond milk (all I had) to make a heavy cream-like mixture. I also used varied this recipe by using much less than a whole tsp of salt. Finally, using my nonstick cookware, I do not cook anything at medium-high heat, so I cooked the chicken longer at medium, which resulted in blackened chicken on the outside. Still learning cooking techniques, but this one was a fail.
