Peanut Butter Cake

This was very good and moist. I did sift dry ingredients before adding to wet. I also added a little extra peanut butter and I didn't use 2 cups of sugar.

Yummy Baked Chicken Thighs in Tangy Sauce

A very easy and good recipe. Only change I made was adding a Tb sp of honey to cut acidic as one reviewer had done. I will keep this recipe for another day.

No Bake Cheesecake I

This was very easy we all know what we go thru to keep the cake from cracking and the length of time it takes to cook. This was not as good as the one I just spoke of, but for a quickie it will work

Roast with Gravy

This was really good I substituted the beef roast for venison and the gravy was different, but in a good way. I seasoned the roast before searing. I will be using this again.

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

OMG! This is great my first time making a homemade soup and what a way to start. My only down fall is I should have cut the recipe in half made a lot more than I expected. I did use roma tomatoes because this is not tomatoe season and the roma's looked a better nice and red. I used the technique one of the reviews gave for easy peeling. Thanks. A keeper.

Cranberry and Cilantro Quinoa Salad

I went to the store to purchase the quinoa, but did not get because couscous was less expensive. I figured it was not to much difference between the two. I cooked with beef broth did not add curry, lime juice nor cranberry used pine nuts and cranraisins instead. My family enjoyed and it will now be one of our go to sides.

San Francisco Pork Chops

The only thing that I changed in this recipe was that I seasoned the meat with onion and garlic powder, turmeric, Italian herbs, salt and black pepper. I also did not cook 30 minutes nor did I cook 5 minutes per side. I wanted my pork fork tender and it was.

Savory Baby Bok Choy

This was my first time preparing bok choy and it was awesome! I added more seasonings. I wish i had cut up the bok choy in one inch pieces because the leaf part was almost like okra. It was like sliding down my throat.

Lime-Marinated Mahi Mahi

I made this for my husband's lunch. We went to Mexico for vacation and my husband just loved the Mahi Mahi. I have used several recipes on line and have not been able to come close to duplicating the flavor. The 3 minutes per side it too long the fish is not moist, but on the dry side. I added extra lime just to enhance flavor, but i did not use fresh. That could be one of my problems. I will kept searching.

Blueberry Lemon Bread

This was very good. I did not have any lemons, so I just used extra juice for flavor. I also rinsed my fresh berries then sprinkled with flour to prevent them from sinking to the bottom of my batter. This is a keeper.

Mid-Eastern Chicken Thighs

This dish was really good. I did not have any garam masala so I went on line goggled substitute for the spice and everything it listed I had. I also added some garlic powder. I had whole chicken thighs, so I had to debone and skin them. Then I cut into bite size pieces. Since I did that it did not take as long to cook. A keeper.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

I just made one I did not have frozen strawberries, but I did have fresh and they were so large that I only used 8. I had 2% milk, so I made it work. It tasted good I am on my way to the gym I will find out if it will be filling for me. I followed the recipe and should have made one serving. I put the other serving in freezer was not sure how it would do in the refrig. I will be making again next time I think I will do my own thing.
