New Mexico Green Chile Breakfast Burritos

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
Yumm, I loved these breakfast burritos. My potatoes stuck to the pan a lot, but I have never been good at making hash browns. Still tasted great. The hatch chile sauce wasn't too spicy and truly made the dish.

Stuffed Green Peppers

I was pleasantly suprised, these were pretty good, but you can't really go wrong with black beans and rice. A little plain, but we liked them.

Garden Veggie Pizza Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
I tried this recipe, but went back to my original recipe. I really didn't like the cream cheese spread (maybe it was b/c I used fat free).

Aloo Phujia

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
This was good, I've never had it before, so didn't know much about how it was supposed to taste, but it was good. I had to add a little bit of water to the pan to keep everything from burning. It is delicious on a pita with some greens and your favorite sauce.

Lori's Spicy Chipotle Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
This was great, a different twist on original lasagna. I loved the spinach and zucchini. A little too spicy for us, so I just added the sauce of the chipotle peppers. Everyone liked it.

Lemon Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
I gave this 3 stars for the fact that it starts out with what are originally edible materials. After looking through the reviews I decided to try NomNomDelicious's sauce suggestions minus the paprika and cayenne b/c my kids don't like spicy. What I was left with was lemon meringue pie filling, so I added the paprika and curry powder to try and make it more savory. Then it was extremely bitter lemon meringue pie filling, so I thinned it out and added it on the chicken as suggested; hoping it would magically change in the 5 min. in the oven; Nope. The chicken by itself came out very tender and juicy and the breading was good too.

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
Yum! This soup is definitely restaurant quality. It is rich and creamy without the use of cream. This is going to be my go to recipe from now on.

This is really good. I didn't roast anything b/c I was in a hurry, and it was still delicious.

Grandma's Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
Very easy and good recipe. I use milk instead of half-and-half to cut the fat and use a mixer at the end to make the potatoes a little mushed in. That's just how I like it and it's great. I've also tried thickening the milk with a rue before adding to the soup and it makes it super creamy without all the fat.

Italian Sausage Soup

Yummy, I was worried about serving this as a dinner, but it was very filling and satisfying, and the flavor is out of this world, a new favorite soup.

Cajun Style Baked Sweet Potato

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
I liked these as little bites, they were a little spicy for the kids. And I wished they were a little crispier, but the flavor was good.

Beef and Vegetable Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
A pretty good beef stew. We made it just as the recipe says, but the rosemary flavor over powered everything and just didn't go well. We left it in for just a minute the next time and it was perfect.

This was a great chili recipe, it was delicious, but a little too much beef for my tastes. I halved the beef next time.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

I've made chicken pot pie before and it usually takes me hours and it doesn't come out half as good as this was. This is way better than store bought, the best I've ever had, simply delicious.

This was pretty soggy and had way too much mayo and relish. It didn't taste like much of anything else, despite all of the other seasonings.
