Mmmmmmm. I have made this recipe twice. The first time I just added the roast(raw, unseasoned), soup, onion mix, water, potatoes and carrots to the pot. It was really good, but oh man this second time Iit was out of this world good. I seasoned the roast on each side with salt, pepper, oregano, sage and garlic powder. Then dusted that with flour and browned it. I added one can soup with one can beef broth (small roast size), one packet of soup mix, some minced garlic, potatoes and onions to the pot. Cooked it on high 4 hours. Added a little more flour to thicken and a 2 lb roast was completely gone and it is just my boyfriend and I. I was hoping for a second meal out of it, but it was just goo good!!!!
