White Fruit Cake

subbed out a few fruits but it was wonderful! The recipe make a lot more than I was expecting. A loaf, two mini loafs, and a whole tray of muffins!

Old Italian Meat Sauce

I did this in a hurry using a bit of red wine vinegar in splashes when it called for wine, balanced it out with a spoon of brown sugar, canned mushrooms, and just dried spices. My five roommates loved it!!

Lemon Cake with Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

I added lemon juice to the cake and a little extra to the frosting, subbed flour for the cornstarch and it came out super tasty! I only let the filling set for an hour and a half in the freezer, stirring it every so often before I put it on the cake for times sake, it came out just fine. I was very happy with it and put a little on some meringues I had on hand from the egg whites (didn't wanna waste em), it was super tasty there too. My boyfriend's friends all loved the cake and demanded more when I made it for them

Blueberry Loaf

I used this recipe, but we didn't have any blue berries so I cooked some apples in a pan with a bit of honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, sugar, and used those instead of blueberries. It came out okay, a little bland, so next time I made it I used 3/4c brown sugar, 3/4c white sugar, then put nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon in the batter, I'm not sure how much I went on feel and taste. Oh it was sooo good! My family ate it all so fast and asked for more! It's a great recipe!
