These came out so good! I followed the recipe as written, except I didn't roll the dough out as thinly. I also doubled the baking soda and water solution and brought it to a boil and then dropped each unbaked pretzel into the boiling water/baking soda mix for about 20 seconds. They baked up beautifully, and the outsides were the perfect color, glossy and just the right texture. We have enjoyed other soft pretzel recipes, but the results that came from using this recipe and boiling before baking tops them all! The boiling added an extra step. but it really was worth it!
