Ham and Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
Absolutely awesome recipe! I love how the Cayenne pepper brings out the sweetness in the beans! I suggest making a double batch otherwise there probably wont be any leftovers!

New Red Potato Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
Need to cook potatoes longer people complained at the party that they were crunchy...also need to use less milk and more mayo to make them creamier, but a good recipe I will use again!

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
These are made for every single family party! Our family loves them. My husband makes the recipe different every time and they turn out awesome. The key is to get the bacon as crispy as you can (even a little burnt tastes good) and then vary on the cheese (we used cheddar shredded but also cut up) we also add a little brown sugar and sweet relish, the possibilities to vary this are endless!!!

Red Potato Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
Didnt use italian dressing but used light ranch and the results were amazing...the chicken was juicy and amazing and the potatoes I had to cook a little longer but it was so worth it. I also added grill seasoning to the potatoes and chicken for a little extra kick! Next time I will try the italian dressing and see if its just as good!

Creamy Guacamole

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2010
We had to add milk to make it creamy and I think next time we will add more avacado, skip the worcestershire sauce and add more hot sauce..husband was very disappointed in the bland flavor!

Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I didnt give it 5 stars because hubby complained that there wasnt enough filling so next time gonna make a little more filling. It was an awesome pie but I used 1 cup chopped pecans for the filling and then a 1/2 cup whole pecans all over the top. Everyone raved how good it was!!

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
Outstanding! I added a layer of brown sugar and chopped pecans before adding the marshmallows and I even put the marshmallows only on half of the top because there were people who didnt like marshmallows. Still it was so smooth and creamy and the pecans and brown sugar gave it just the right crunch on the top! Hubby wanted sweet potatoes like his grandmother made and these were definitely right up that alley! I will be making again and again. so easy....

The Greatest Grilled Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
Oh gosh this was so awesome!!! we stuffed the turkey with applesauce and apples and then followed the recipe. We had a little trouble keeping the temp at the right temp for the first like 20 min and then it was like everything came together and oh my goodness so moist, tender and full of flavor. I will never do a turkey in an oven again..this came out so good I think we will try it for my family Christmas!!

Jenn's Chicken Parmesano Supreme

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Awesome recipe!! Husband said its even better than his chicken cordon bleu...I marinated the chicken with caesar dressing when I bought it and put it in a foodsaver bag and froze it and so I skipped the flour and egg and beat the chicken breast and then dredged it in bread crumbs made of cereals (great solution for cereals that dont get eaten) and then fried the filets...came out awesome, oh yes and I added salt and pepper and italian seasoning before I baked it. The Caesar makes the chicken tender and oh so flavorful!

Italian Peas

Reviewed: May 20, 2011
Very good in a pinch recipe..I had peas and garlic and onion and tried this. Put Parm cheese on top of them before serving and they were good..I think next time going to put some hot sauce in them for a little extra kick as they were a little bland....

Flan Mexicano (Mexican Flan)

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2011
My husband is from Nicaragua and his dad makes this awesome flan and I used this recipe and my husband loved it! I dont think I am going to put the orange juice in next time as the orange was overkill and why we didnt give it 5 stars, and this makes 2 flans not just one if you use the Pampered Chef Flan pan, but I will definitely make this again!!!
