Antipasto Platter

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2001
Delicious and a hit at my annual Christmas Glogg party as the "new dish." Sure makes a lot tho. Had to layer it in a very large baking pan and then cut and place on a platter for serving. Instead of garlic powder and oregano, for a new taste, try Salad Supreme seasoning (found in spices)

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2008
Best every mac salad. I think it serves more than 10 though. Sometimes I make this with low fat mayo with balsamic vinegar and artificial sweetner. Definitely Sweet onion. A real keeper. Thanks.

German Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
Been making potato pancakes for years. Never used a recipe, but thanks for this as people are always asking for the recipe. I do add a pinch of nutmeg, as my husband's German father always did.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2011
Yummy. I got fresh summer peaches and skipped peeling them and putting them in the oven for 10 minutes. Mixed the peach ingredients, spooned on the topping and baked 30 min. Delish and no one noticed they weren't peeled. A summer staple at our house now. Also, used Smart Balance instead of butter for less fat.

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2012
Sooo good.! Got some fresh shrimp in Georgetown, SC and made it immediately when we got back to Myrtle Beach. I used about a cup of oil and since shrim cooks so fast, just did one side at a time for about 2 min per side. Easy and Yummy

Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: May 3, 2014
This is a great recipe. It is similar to my mom's over 50 years ago!! We used canned evaporated skim milk in ours and it was very rich and creamy. Also, I like tomato slices on the top. Yum Yum Yum. Thanks for this recipe reminder that I had just forgotten over the years.

We absolutely love Chicken Marsala! and this is a very good recipe. My changes: Flour mixture....add one tbs. parsley flakes, tsp. garlic powder...tsp.oregano...1/2 cup parmesan cheese...coat chicken...I use some chicken broth in the sauce (no sherry)and thicken it with some of the leftover flavored flour.
