Banana Coconut Loaf

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Very good recipe, so moist. Would definitely make again. I like the cherry twist to it. Great way to use up those black bananas and a bit more unique than the standby banana bread.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
I loved these! Very great taste. I halved the recipe for the stuffing and it still filled at least 12 mushroom caps.

Slow Cooker Bolognese

This was very tasty and easy to make. It added variety to my everyday meatsauce for pasta. Would definitely make again!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
This was a good tasting cake. However, I baked it in a 9x13 pan and it was like the sides burnt before the middle of the cake was done. Not sure if I need to turn down the oven next time or do it in a bundt pan as it says to. I will try it again.

Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
This was an excellent dish. I had kind of a tough cut of meat that I slow cooked all day and it almost melted in the mouth. My husband raved about it. Definitely a keeper recipe. It went great with some oriental noodles and a stirfry and spring rolls. Yummy!

Slow Cooker Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
This soup was a bit watery for my taste. I could have thickened it up with a flour/milk mixture but I didnt want to take away from the original recipe too much.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
Not my favorite slow cooker recipe. I love chicken cordon bleu, but the cheese melted too much to enjoy the ooey gooey goodness of a real CCB. I think I would rather make a recipe that rolls the chicken breast, ham and cheese together and bakes.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
This was a hit in my household, was similar to the chicken you get at the chinese food mall place. The sauce didnt get thick enough for me, but it still tasted good. Would make again, probably with chicken pieces and bake them.

Roasted Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
This was very good. I only used 3 cloves of garlic (guess didnt read the recipe right), so would use at least a bulb if not two next time. I didnt want it too strong, but sounds like 3's the charm. Would make again!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
Really good and easy. Definitely add some cumin, chili powder, pepper, garlic powder for some extra zest. Next time I will try adding the can of cream of chicken soup as some suggested.

Candied Garlic Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
These wings had a nice flavor and were definitely sticky. A word of caution, really watch your pan when it's covered in foil in the oven, mine overflowed and made a nice sticky mess in the bottom of my oven. Also, watch it near the end of the baking, as mine ended up burning along the sides.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I thought this recipe was a bit dry. Overall taste was good. I think the next time I make this I would add milk (as someone suggested) to make it creamier and do away with the breadcrumb topping (as many also suggested), and add more cheese for the topping.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese III

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
This recipe was easy to make, however was not as creamy and cheesy as I would have liked. Also, the combo of cheeses and sour cream seemed to 'curdle' in the recipe. The taste was good, but if I was to make again, I would certainly double the cheeses. Thanks for the recipe.

Best Bruschetta Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2003
This was a very easy and delicious recipe!! I added chopped onion to it and it was great. Instead of parmesan cheese, I've used mozzerella and it turned out great too. Highly recommend!

Cranberry Almond Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2002
This was my 1st time making biscotti and although it had a nice taste, I found the texture of the batter too crumbly that I had to add some water to make it form a log. Upon baking, then I found it crumbling as I was trying to slice. All in all, a good tasting recipe - the right festive ingredients for a nice Christmas homemade gift.

Daria's Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2002
VERY Tasty recipe. It was easy to make and the meat was fork-tender. I used fresh mushrooms and omitted the wine (which I am sure didnt affect the taste whatsoever). I will surely use this again and again. I served over egg noodles and also used it leftover the next day on rice. Very good!

Chocolaty Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2002
Recipe was a good fruit dip alternative to those with cream cheese AND marshmallow spread. I used 1% milk instead of skim and a dash of orange juice rather than the orange liquer - it tasted fine. All in all, a pretty good chocolate dip.

Oven Baked Jambalaya

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2001
Great recipe....very LARGE recipe...recommend mixing this up in a VERY LARGE roaster. Next time I would half or quarter it. Too much for just me and my husband - kids wouldnt touch it! 1st time I made jambalaya and would use it again!
