About this Cook
I'm a nineteen year old Psychology student who happens to love cooking. Living in a dorm seriously prohibits my ability to cook, but I spend most of my free time collecting, thinking about, and planning recipes. Therefore, on my occasional weekends at home, I am most often found in the kitchen: preparing the next meal, making treats at midnight, experimenting with my latest cooking tools, or frying up things on demand for anyone who even suggests that he might have some room in his stomach.
My favorite things to cook
Breads, Desserts, Mashed potatoes, Omelets, Pasta...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Since I was born, actually before, my family does not buy bread. My mom faithfully hand-kneads and bakes wonderful bread from scratch as fast as the family and the neighbors and the friends can eat it. People often describe the smell of my home as "freshly-baked bread."
My cooking triumphs
I once spent an entire two days in the kitchen creating several different flavors of truffles. Some of the most successful were caramel peanut butter, coconut almond, and white chocolate cranberry.
My cooking tragedies
My most common cooking mishap is the overuse of salt. I love my food to be bursting with flavor, but to most people it's just a little too much.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls
This is a delicious and easy recipe. However, the first time I made these, the cinnamon sugar dripped over the sides of the muffin tin and burned on the bottom of the stove, causing a lot of smoke and a bad smell. The next time I made them, I put some aluminium foil underneath the muffin tins to prevent this. With this fix, this is a great recipe that I will continue using! Thanks!

Fresh Asparagus Soup
This soup was excellent! I made very few changes, although I added sea salt to the asparagus and onion while cooking, and I used skim milk instead of soy. Thanks so much for the recipe! I will definitely be using this one again!

Feta Veggie Quiche
This was a pretty good quiche. My family seemed to like it, however I didn't taste the Feta cheese, so next time I will add more. It was a little bit watery, so I will also reduce the milk to 1 cup. Thanks for the recipe, I look forward to making it again with these changes!
