I love to make all kinds of deserts. There is nothing like putting together a great thick soup that bursts with flavor. I guess I love to cook everything!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Having the family get together for great celebrations (any excuse will do). Passing my knowledge to the next generations is the most rewarding and fun!
My cooking triumphs
My chicken pot pie is to die for! On a cold snowy night, there is nothing as good as my chicken pot pie. That and a couple of warm cho-chip cookies are my identity.
My cooking tragedies
As a young bride(we had no money) I mixed everything in the refrigerator in one pot thinking I'd have a great soup and I had to throw it away!The dog wouldn't even eat it.

Old Fashioned Potato Salad
I HAVE BEEN MAKING THIS FOR YEARS! Its requested for every family get together. Try it using chopped up sweet pickles and leave out the mustard.

Meaty Slow Cooker Jambalaya
first time I have ever made jambalya. This is really good! Next time I make it, I will use a less spicey sausage than andiulle. My mouth is still on fire!
